Re: Signs of TAG
To get good reads, do you guys play for long sessions? I find that I'm only playing about 30 min sessions, and can only develop a vague read by that time...

Re: Signs of TAG
Mm, pf I think I have a good idea of who is agg and who is pass...I'm trying to play w/o HUD right now, so I have no stats to look at...just pure note taking and seeing how far I get...
Not sure...

Signs of TAG
What should I look for? One of the things I've noticed is people who bet/fold the river. Is this a good sign that the person is at least *trying* to be taggy? What other quick signs are there, b/c...

I've recently started playin 2/4 6max at AP, just to get away from the monotone at full ring, even though I'm probably not close to ready for it. I just thought there'd be lessons I can learn at 6max...

Re: Two Flop Bets w/ Not Much
Although the bets are sexy, I am usually lost on the turn if I get a caller...fire again or not assuming a blank falls? Sometimes I feel the assumption that the "weak players will fold ui" turns me...

Re: ROI vs Real Money
Perhaps what I'm saying is, would you rather invest more money, to earn more money, or invest less money, and earn less, money but at a higher ROI?

ROI vs Real Money
Just read a thread in Small Stakes that was quite interesting. It argued that ROI, or implied odds, is not as important as the absolute dollar amount that we want to win.
The example that was...

Re: Clearing Absolute at 2/4
Are my calculations off, or should the $/hr cleared be much higher than what is listed at BW?
$1-$2 Limit $5.61 $7.63
$2-$4 Limit $5.63 $7.60
I would expect the 2/4 hourly rate to be much...

Clearing Absolute at 2/4
Is Absolute the only site that takes rake when the pot reaches $5 at 2/4 Limit? Would that make this the best site and limit to clear bonii at, since it only requires 1.25BB for the hand to be raked?...

Re: Beating pf to death
do we really have enough equity to raise? These are not super loose players, I do not think the limpers are completely random hands.
By raising and having both blinds call, I'm going to be giving...

Re: Beating pf to death
I don't know what I was thinking at the time. I mean, it's been ingrained that if I had AKo, I would definitely raise, I don't know what made me think AQ is so different...but apparently as Shant...

Re: Beating pf to death
If I can fold the blinds, then I would be up against 3 opponents in stead of 5. I think this significant reduction warrants a raise, but if they won't fold, then there's not much equity in bloating...

Beating pf to death

I'm thinking if I can get both blinds to...

well, so from what you're saying, I *should* invest in the indexx fund...most people *don't* for the same reason they won't lay down a big hand even though they know they're behind?

if the indices are almost guaranteed to rise 10%/yr over long periods of time, what stops people from putting all their money there and earn at least 10%?
