Re: yo cossio wtf?

Sirio11 is a known player and he needs to mix up his play a bit more than the rest of us unknowns. Since no-one knows who the heck I am, I can play more straightforward in these situations.

Re: I need a plan - AA 200NL

If he is on a draw, I don't think he gets the right implied odds unless he hits his draw on the turn and you let him get you all in. Once he has misses the turn but calls your bet he has put so much...

Re: I need a plan - AA 200NL

Preflop is fine...

I think your flop play could have been better.

On the flop the pot is $23 and sb bets $2 into you making the pot $25. Of course, you have to raise. But how much? The $2 bet...

Re: I\'m lag and am in a bad spot, $50NL 6m

I don't think I will fold here. What hands do you put UTG on? He'd likely have raised with a better A if he is TAG like you say. Do you think he would raise you with KQ like that on the flop? If he...

Re: 50NL, AK, third suited card hits on river, bet or check behind?

My thoughts are that either you are beat (or chop), or villan is a horrible player. You cannot bet the river without a read. At $50NL perhaps a typical player will call this down with worse than AK,...

Re: shorthanded walking into monsters

You are getting 3:1 odds against a player who is probably raising with any two to bully and you throw JTs away?

To OP: if he is really minraising every time, I think you have to call here getting...

Re: ($22) baby flush out of bb.. how is my line?

In a shallow stack game like this, I think you just always have to assume your flush is good. If there is a higher flush, so be it. but you should be willing to get all your chips in with a flush if...

Re: (22) Am I missing something on how to play AK

pushing is correct
stop n go is correct
folding is weak, but in some situations (not yours) correct.
calling and check/folding to a bet when you don't hit is wrong (unless you are playing against...

Re: Another interesting hand from the game\'s \"smartest player\"

The upside of 22 is that while it's often a slight dog and never a big favorite, it's relatively rarely a huge dog. Given the payout structure and how ZJ will still have an effective stack...

Re: Another interesting hand from the game\'s \"smartest player\"

True. He wasn't calling off all his chips there. But the comments about this being a race *at best* still apply, no? I don't think I make this call.

ZeeJustin seems to like the move too. This is from the Monte Carlo Satellite. About 13 players left. Top 2 get the package. Justin in about 5th place in chips:

Re: $55 - KQs - POST FLOP

Thx for the replies Seth, Brad, and Sonny.

Seth, I'm also interested in what lines you would take on this flop.

Sonny, let's say you lead out with 200 and get reraised all in. You fold or call?...

($11)(Party)QQ at 10/15. All in on flop--Good/Bad/Donky?

One of the things I've found on the Party 11's is that people are willing to call huge overbets because they think it is a bluff. I've used this several times to win some nice chips. In this hand, I...

Re: AA fold

The difference in profit between 2nd and 1st is greater than the profit you make by taking 2nd place. So it pays to take those risks for a better chance of taking 1st place. And not matter how great...
