Re: pokertracker on paradise

PT has an autorequest hand histories feature under the utilities menu. If you have a POP3 email account (try gmail for a free one), you can setup PT to autoimport from there. Its a bit of a pain, but...

Re: a hand i disliked-QQ BB

[ QUOTE ]
I would bet out, hoping to start a raise fest that will drive out or charge a high price for any diamonds and straight draws.

Re: a hand i disliked-QQ BB

I check, intending to raise CO's bet(99% of the time i lead out here, i don't know what came over me; first street of the hand i hate). MP bets(damn), 3 calls to me so i change my plan...

Re: turn action

[ QUOTE ]
For better or worse, I checked the flop. When the player to my right bets the turn, should I try to protect my hand with a raise, or hope for overcalls?

Re: Line with JJ against tight UTG raiser?

I'm not raising for fold equity. Given that I think I'm ahead for more than 50% of his range should I 3-bet the flop? What do I do if he caps?

I always end up calling down in these situations, but...

Re: sshe by miller

Does anyone know a thread in here, or have an idea about the premises for the statement "you can easily make 50K a year playing 3/6". Does that mean 8-tabling 24/7 or just picking ...

Re: 88 in middle position.

When he donks the turn why do you raise? I think you are behind here, but I'm a pussy.

I don't see how a river raise is for value. I don't think he calls it without a jack and you likely face a...

Line with JJ against tight UTG raiser?

Sorry about the typed in hand, but the converter doesn't seem to work.

Hero is UTG+1
Villan is UTG. Stats are 15/5/3

Hero is dealt...

Re: I Find It Hard Not To Raise Donk Turn Bets

Since I asked already this weak, FPS = Fancy play syndrome.

I.e. at micros the most straightforward play is often the best. I get very worried about trip 4's here, but villan would have to be a...

Re: Flopped trips...But what? Raise? Again?

Villan doesn't seem out of line with PFR, so maybe AT/AJ/TT? On the other hand he''s super agro. I would probably call down here just like you did.

Re: Extremely loose table with Big PP

Raise. You have the best hand now, make them pay to beat you with junk. I can't see how calling and then raising on the flop is better. You are giving a ton of junk hands a chance to beat you cheaply.

Re: getting pushed out on the river

[ QUOTE ]
Hero is never WA here. Villain has at least 6 outs virtually every time. He might be WB, though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess WA is villan has 3 outs or fewer? What line do you take then?

Re: getting pushed out on the river

I think you should take a WA/WB line here. C/C flop, C/C turn, B/F river. Either you are ahead and he is drawing thin, or you are drawing dead. If his pfr is 10 percent, I think you can probably put...

Re: Two Hands-Comments please

First hand:
Why do you check and call the turn and river? You have a full house and CO has shown no aggression! Bet the turn. 3-bet if he raises. B/C the river. You have the best hand here 9 of 10...

Re: $0.5/1 KK Hand. Was I too aggressive.

No. MP1 raised preflop and 3 bet the flop. I think the chances that you are up against a flush a pretty small. I'd cap here and like it. I think the only hand you should be afraid of is...

Re: Attempted isolation play + continued aggression + value bet

Quite a few of the posters didn't like my Flop bet. I figured there were a few reasons for the bet:

1) Continuation bet.

2) I have backdoor draws.

3) Most importantly IMO, I...

Re: Part timers - what do you do with your winnings?

Winnings? What winnings?

Seriously though... I leave it in as bankroll so I can move up limits. I'd like to get to at least 3/6.

Also, I'd be careful about taking out more than winrate x number...

Re: Attempted isolation play + continued aggression + value bet

*grunch*

I don't like the raise preflop at all. You have a marginal hand that plays better multiway.

I'd be lying if I said I don't bet the flop here after a preflop raise, but I don't think...

Re: Line with top 2 pair against suspected set

So whats the line if I raise the turn and he 3-bets? Call and then call on the river?

I was hoping someone could find a fold here... this hand sucked.

Re: puzzling Q9s

Flop play is fine. I might try for a C/R though as it potentially gets more bets in the pot, and also looks stronger.

On the turn I have a hard time betting here. I probably chicken out and C/C....

Re: 3-bet/fold turn...

*grunch*

I don't like this. You have a hand with decent showdown value and you should show it down. Call the turn raise and the river.

Re: My first really loose table since I returned - drawing hands

*grunch*

First hand is great.

On the second hand you can 3-bet the flop for value. You have a big equity edgee here against even 3 players, much less 4. Turn and river are fine. You _might_...

Line with top 2 pair against suspected set

Villan is TAG with 19/11/2.3 stats.

I think I'm up against either a set or random two pair on the flop.

What is the standard line here?
