Thanks for all your opionions guys, but I was more wondering why Mr. Miller didn't recommend those 3 books. He posted in another thread that he only recommends 7 books, these 3 not being on the list.

I think it will eventually be over 15,000. The difference between poker and say any other fad is there is money to be made. However, I think the play will continue to improve and get tougher...

I've heard some pretty bad things said about Kammen's 7cs book, but all of the Advanced Players series are worth every penny and more. I have not read Phil Gordan's book, but I plan on buying it.

I'm pretty sure the World Poker Open has other events leading up to the $10,000 event as do most of the major tournaments. The other events just don't air leading up to the $10,000 buy in no limit...
