Re: Bizarre 6 max hand

grunch
PF 5sb|flop 15sb|turn 11.5BB|river 13.5BB to you

I think you should have bet the turn since you raised the flop - if your hand was good then it is likely still good now (except against a...

Re: Anything wrong here?

depends you may lose .2 bb immediately but if the info is worth anything you should save or make additional fractions against this villan for the remaining time he stays at the table.

Re: Anything wrong here?

I think you should have bet the turn. If you had and he called you can be fairly certain he has a str8 draw or a pair. If villan then bets the river you call and save 1 bet, if villan check raises...

Re: transition from full ring to short

I find it helpful to think of it as full ring and it is folded to you - raise with the same hands.

I do this for all positions so effectively there is SB, BB, MP2, MP3, CO, and BU - plays like 10...

Re: party 1/2 full questions

I can't answer this one as I never played the beginer tables (came around after I started)

Oh and before I forget...I hate you (just kidding) $1000 in 15 days ;-p

Re: party 1/2 full questions

I'll have to dig up stats (PT down moving to new machine ;p)

fwiw - I'd say my 6 max play is dead on so far. I played the other night (after losing ~30BB in full ring) and made up the loss and...

Re: party 1/2 full questions

I'd say ~3-4k hands at 1/2 full over the past 2-3 months I played about 1k over the long weekend (Wed-Sat)

Problem has been that I am losing to any 2 suited (e.g. T6), any A (e.g. A6o) cold...

Re: party 1/2 full questions

Thought I'd would resurrect this for an update

[ QUOTE ]

$1 $2 full can be tough but it sounds like you are just hitting a bad run at the moment. Most players are pretty tight although that...

Re: Flopped trips...but what? River raise.

What limit is this? I will assume 1/2 full at party

villan with these stats will limp (from CO -1) with
(all unsuited)
AK (sometimes),
AQ / AJ / AT
KQ / KJ / KT
QJ / QT
JT
and raise with...

Re: KK faces 2 on what i think is a semi-blank board

[ QUOTE ]

1) Is the Loose/Passive dude capping 99 or a /images/graemlins/heart.gif draw on the flop? - I say no

2) Will the L/P dude call out of the BB with 7x? - Uhhh yeah

We are screwed...

Re: QQ - Folding the flop

what i meant by slow played flop is MP called the bet then re-raised a raise. to me this means he knew he was going to get his action on the flop and decided to not wait to pop the turn with his 2p...

Re: anyway to extract more?

Re: QQ - Folding the flop

you need a K (2 outs) followed by any board card (10 outs)
2/47 * 10 / 46 = ~1%

your ~77 bets short here

Re: Flops seen percentage

one way to think of it is (and use the charts) -
instead of how many positions from the BB am I (e.g. UTG, etc) is how many positions off the button am I

In 5 handed there is SB, BB, MP, CO, BU...

Re: 1/2 KJo

id guess he was slow playing KK K9 or K8 possibly 98 so
KK you are drawing to runner runner J J
K9/8 your K outs are no good you have 3 outs
89 you have 5 outs

I'd say your safe to fold the...

to make matters worse I'm at a table with a guy who has gone from 50BB to 150 BB. Seems he either sucks out on the river or has the nut hand every time...BUT he is only in hands where someone or...

Re: Dealing with variance

Re: PP 1\\2; raise turn to Stop \'N go?

I have to agree with other poster - as played raise turn - call down if 3 bet as he may have the str8 already or trash...
