Tough turn decision?

Hey guys,

Heres the situation. This is the $500 daily freeroll. Blinds are 15/30 and I've got a pretty solid image. 120 players remaining ( top 30 pay ). I've got T2k which is just every so...

Re: Stars $215 hand

How exactly are there not many free cards that can hurt your hand? You have no idea what your opponents holdings are and you only have top pair on a 4 flush board. I would be worried about any paint...

Re: Stars $215 hand

I would just push preflop, but if I didn't, there is no way I'm not pushing ont his flop

Re: $100+$9 Stars Tourney - overcall with JJ?

I def. call this all-in here. It really really looks like an isolation play, and I don't know if he's pushing here with AA or KK, QQ is a def. possibility, but I think he'll push there with sooo many...

Re: Routine Fold?

One thing to consider too is the varience of the play. While if your bankroll is what it needs to be varience isn't as bad, but I certainly wouldn't reccomend doing this if your bankroll is even...

Re: thanks for the advice

One thing I would really keep in mind is that many many many players that play that event play SOOOOOOO much differently in the first hour than they do in the rounds to come after the rebuy. So for...

Re: Routine Fold?

I understand the concept very well, I just misunderstood the positions. Heres my question: If you fold this and the shortstack loses his next hand you have lost that leverage, how long does the...

Re: Questionable flop decisions

Hi Kuro, thanks for the reply. I'll try to answer or reply to some of your comments if thats ok.

First you said this: You're 3 off the button with J9o. You shouldn't have even entered the pot....

Re: Inner dialouge. HELP ME!!!!!

Thanks for the reply kal. You said a progam might help or a play money game. This is perfect for me as I don't have money right now so I've been playing freerolls non stop to gain as much experience...

Re: Inner dialouge. HELP ME!!!!!

Hey Al, thanks for the response. Firstly I'd like to say that thinking of my chips as time rather than actual chips isn't an issue for me. Secondly, I'm primarily a multi-table tourney player, but...

Inner dialouge. HELP ME!!!!!

Hey guys. I'm having some trouble and I think this is the best place to post this, but if I'm wrong please forgive me. I'm having serious troubles walking myself through hands in my head. My inner...

Re: A5c

Hi Chief, I agree that my flop bet is questionable at best. I know I bet a 3rd of my stack on the flop. I think I either should have bet less on the flop like 300-400 somewhere in that range or push...

Re: Questionable flop decisions

I agree with what you said about freerolls being loose, however this is one of the larger regular freerolls on the net with actual cash prizes, instead of say a sat. to another freeroll like stars....

Re: Questionable flop decisions

I had J9o in this hand. Sorry for the sloppy post, its early and all. I wasn't saying I was going to fold the nut boat on the turn. I was saying I would have to check and fold on the turn if I don't...

Re: Questionable flop decisions

I'll go ahead and post my thoughts on the hand. Firstly I don't think I played the hand well at all, but I'm still not certain as to what my action should be on the flop as far as how much to bet or...

Questionable flop decisions

Hey guys, Poker-room 1000 added freeroll, I have T3500 which is about 600 less than avg. I've just been moved to a new table 1 orbit later so I don't have many reads. Its folded to me in 3 off the...

Hey guys, this is from the 1000k added freeroll on pokerroom. Blinds are 50/100 and I have T1700 which is about the avg. The table is playing very loose passive and there has been very little preflop...

Re: Decision for all my chips on the turn...

I agree with Loyds take on the hand. You telegraphed your hand on the flop and he called and now he's raised your large turn bet. I just can't see him doing this with enough hands that you beat...

Re: Strange play on the bubble

Allthough your opponent in this hand played his hand poorly I think you made a mistake yourself. I don't know what the avg. chip count was, but looking at your stack you can easily just fold into the...

Re: Do you make this call with 88?

Firstly zaxx, 900 isn't a HUGE raise, the blinds are 150/300 which means the heros raise was to 3x the BB which is a standard raise and its the only raise he can make from his position other than 800...

Re: betting out dueces when you dont hit a set.

I realise that the poster corrected himself and we all know he was on the button rather than in the BB. That being said, one poster suggested it was ridiculous to call out of the BB for just 200 more...

Re: Pushing w/ AQs?

T1705 when you only have T4800 or so when the blinds are 300/600 is hardly a small raise. He's putting nearly half his stack in the pot. I'm not sure what you consider to be a small raise but this...

Re: Deseparate in the small blind. should I call

Wow... you only have 400 left after posting... I mis-read the post, sorry. You absolutely have to call this unless the step up in money is so important to you that you would throw up if you didn't...

Re: Deseparate in the small blind. should I call

this is an easy call if you ask me. while you are obviously losing right now, your outs are totally live and you already have half your stack in the pot and can quad up, while if you fold you can...
