Re: Why am I so nitty?

I'm at a loss. Is it possible you're in denial? I'm not trying to crack a joke, that's a sincere question. The only plausible explanations are fear of loss, or a deep rooted shame of...

Re: Question about bonus chasing

In short...yes, it would be worth it for you to chase bonus $ at other sites. At $2/$4 at Caribbean right now you can expect to clear $17.96 per hour per table in sign-up/monthly bonus according to...

Re: Various Rakebacks

The potential profit is completely dependant on how much rake you're paying every month. Any rakeback deal you get at 28%+ is solid.

Go to the Classified's and look at rakerebatereview.com You...

Re: Lets list them!

I'm still way too weak on the bubble. I still severely underestimate most average stack and lower's - range of folding hands during this critical time. I look down and see 73s in the CO and I just...

Re: Passive Play for metagame purposes.

Note the "almost" qualifier. But I do think that if playing a good hand weakly like the OP's villain can make you tilt away that many big bets... then playing normally against you can...

Thank you everyone for the input. It's a concensus - all in all, just a very bad idea.

Re: Being backed for cash games..

It's 5a.m., I'm no genius to begin with, it's been 29 hours since I've slept and this STILL sounds like a positively shi**y idea.

Re: Why is it possible to get runner runner cards to win?

Yes, these people exist...and thank God for them. Your job would be much more difficult without them.

Passive Play for metagame purposes.

Two days ago - UB - $2/$4 - 4 handed.

I'm on the button and pick up A /images/graemlins/spade.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. MP raises and I 3-bet. MP calls.

FLOP Q95 rainbow.

MP...

unless you plan on folding to a river bet, then yes, you should bet again. If you check any K is betting, so you might as well bet it yourself so you get calls from worse hands that will...

A situation I feel I\'m horribly misplaying.

So here's the scenario.

2/4 and 3/6 - 6-Max.

Hero is SB/BB and picks up QQ-1010. MP opens, button call, SB call and everyone calls your 3-bet.

Flop comes 3 undercards to hero's pair. ...

Re: Can I Make More Money on Flopped Quads?

If you FOLDED quads every time you flopped them, it wouldn't have as great an impact on your ROI% as if you found/plugged the the 37th biggest leak in your game.

It happens so rarely, the...

Don't ever be afraid of getting it all-in with mid pockets against the type of opponent you are describing. 9 out of ten hands against an opponent such as this will end up being a coin-flip scenario...

Re: Orange!

You're ahead. He checks the flop...knowing that if checked to, you will continuation bet and he can price out UTG and BB with a raise. A power hand would wait until the turn to pop you. I'd 3-Bet.
