Re: 2/4 Folding a flush when board pairs on river

By checking to him on the river, the villain can bet a wide variety of hands. However, if you bet half the pot and he reraises you, you can fold the hand b/c in that case you are beat. The way it...

Re: Tough river decision

Ok wasnt sure thanks for clearing that up. Taking another look at the action folding here is probably the best course of action.

Re: NL200 in a weird situation when I hit trips on the turn

Make it 120 to go on the turn and call any push. The flop is too dangerous with too many callers to not have bet with a set of Aces here. Plus, there are too many cards that will kill your action on...

Re: Boring 10/20 Ac flush but what\'s your default river line?

I like betting 300-350 to give the impression of a blocking get. Given the fact that the game is short handed and the way the hand played out, you might very well get a raise by a thinking player who...

Re: Foxwoods - 2/4 NL AA UTG

No other way to play it with 3 callers behind you. Even if he folds you pick up almost $200 without showdown in 2/4 which is a nice size pot.

Re: 5/10 Live 99 play...

What did you put George on in the hand? When I was watching the hand play out, I thought you checked behind on the river to induce a bluff from a missed draw, if that's so I don't see the value in...

Re: Foxwoods - 2/4 NL AA UTG

Push all-in...A reraise to $300-400 or so reeks of Aces. By pushing all-in you may get a call by QQ/KK thinking you are just trying to use your big stack to take down a big pot preflop.

Re: low flopped flush (2/4)

Fold, don't overplay this hand b/c you have a str8 flush draw...You only have a 6 high flush and a TAG is most likely not 3 betting a set here and only re-raising with a better flush.

Re: Bankroll Requirement for Party 1000 NL 6-max

20K is probably a good start, but with higher variance in 6-max, I think I would prefer closer to 30K.

Re: QQ vs. BPAT (Best Player at Table)

2 options I see...Bet and fold to a raise or check and call a reasonable bet on river. I lean towards check/calling though.

Re: Preflop: raise aces gets reraised, what now?

Pushhhhhhhhhhhh....but I would typically reraise to like 36BBs and push the flop. In both cases let's hope he calls with KK and we double up.

Re: How bad is this?

I wouldnt make this a standard betting line, but any turn bet commits you to the hand anyways, so its fine for the hand. I would bet pot on flop and 2/3 pot on turn.

Re: Live 5-150 hand, rivered flush against a tricky agro

Just call the reraise on the river. For some of the reasons already mentioned, re-raising seems futile. You are not going to be called by any two pair hand and almost certainly not call by any str8....
