There are various incarnations of the mixed games at PM - here's the lowdown as far as I know:

-They will only spread mixed games in the 'red chip' games. Johnny says this is due to 'state law'...

While it's true that $3+1 rake structures are extremely tough on 3/6 and 4/8 games, causing a player to bust every 30 hands or so (we'll say 40 minutes), hopefully there are more in line behind them....

When you head through Iowa, Prairie Meadows has a decent room - and it's right off I-80 in Des Moines, so plenty of places to stay for cheap.
