Re: Granny vs. Lori - Stars Tournament table 137184 - NOW!

I refuse to believe that anybody is so stupid that he doesn't know you're a dingleberry.

Re: I got taken for a ride this hand

You might want to re-read Chapter 3 of Othmer's book, again. His graph showing "percent of return vs. number of opponents", is based on live pairs with live kickers against opponents who start...

Re: More likely to lose once you withdraw from a site?

Uh oh, you've stepped in it now. Lorinda Dingles and her band of Dingleberries don't want people like you hanging around here. You're doomed. If you can't say something nice about online poker,...

Re: Here\'s another just as uninteresting post from RGP

Here’s the thing, Ted. Proofs can be tricky, sometimes, because a person must possess some minimal intelligence before anything can be proved to him. For example, try as he might, a chemist would...

For those who don\'t get out often.

There is an interesting post by greatbrit, on RGP, that is causing quite a bit of discussion:

Re: First of all, you\'re reading the wrong book....

Good post. The Kings are only good as a steal, but in a no foldem game, in early position, you're pissing into the wind.

I'll take the Kc kicker for a little defense. Puts the Kings drawing dead...

You’re slipping, Granny; that was pretty anemic.

Where’s Dingleberry, by the way?

Re: A Poker Odyssey, Vol: 5 - Seeing the Big Picture

It’s morally acceptable to abuse kooks. I thought you knew that since you’ve never tried to defend them before, and often participated in the kook-bashing merriment here. Did you find religion or...

Re: A Poker Odyssey, Vol: 5 - Seeing the Big Picture

Since you’re always open to suggestions, I think “Odyssey” doesn’t quite capture you’re writing. Perhaps a better title would be “The Diary of Anal Alice”. Also, to add a little drama and suspense...

You’re a little abrupt with me, Patrick. It might have been decent of you to offer some support for your opinion.

To answer your question, yes.

Re: I got taken for a ride this hand

I agree with SittingBull for the most part. If you play the hand, raising seems better than limping, but in either case, I think you should have folded to the Ace’s raise with two players cold...

Re: I have a reason.

That’s not exactly what he’s saying. Concisely, he’s saying that good players win if the site knows who they are, but lose if they don’t. I don’t know if you were around when Ed Hill (good player)...

Re: Lorinda, good post for newbies who want to try the games

I see, now. You’re mission is humanitarian. I should have known because it fits right in with your hobbies. Keep up the good work, and thanks.

One thing about your hobbies, though, confuses me....
