Really? LAGish doesn't necessarily mean stupid. Sounds like small blind likes to raise. If he can't bring himself to raise with a weak jack in this situation, then his only option to continue...

I might fire another barrel. The two diamonds out there on the flop help. Also, there's some chance the player to act first after your turn bet would fold a J.
