safe fold here?

I wasn't sure on a fold here. The SB is about a .86 Aggro, with a 55 VPIP. The thing that really kicked me was the cold call of two on the flop. I felt that I was drawing dead, at best three outs....

Re: Favorite Poem

Emily Dickinson... best poem ever.

BECAUSE I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.

We slowly drove, he knew no...

Crazy pinapple... what to let go of

Halloween night, myself and some others are playing 4/8 crazy pinapple with a full kill at the Wynn. We are 6 handed, and the game is very loose, as we are drinking quite a bit. I am on the button...

Turn check raise

Not much knowon on the button, except that when he re-raised earlier, he had AKs. He has never contested me on my raise before, as I have been pretty aggro, and he also never flat called my raise. ...

Trouble in early position

The game is the Wynn 4/8, 9 handed. I often have trouble with these kinds of hands. I used to fire fire fire, and now I don't know if that is the best course of action. A raise preflop in these...

A KK hand

SAo, I have been trying to experiment with check raising, and it seems that against the average player, if you raise PF and get it heads-up, that you can bet the flop, and no matter what comes on the...

Re: Chop Pot: How do you decide who gets the extra chip?

I am a dealer, and the rules are that the extra chip goes to the first of the left of the dealer, but if it is a high-low split pot game, the extra chip always goes to the high hand. Also, if there...

Re: General question

I have read all the books. But, I just have trouble on this one issue, particularly as I am new to 6 max. I usually do post hands, and do use those other factors.

Stupid line?

3/6 6 max, 6 handed.
MP is passive, with a .5 rating. In this particular hand, I check raised the flop, with all intentions of check-raising the turn again and leading the river. I felt that if...

Re: Movin on up

Well, that was because he rolled me for a certain amount, and wanted to be sure that I was good enough to be bankrolled. I would have moved up sooner, but he wanted to make sure I had a large enough...

Re: Movin on up

Actually, I am being bankrolled, so the bank roll isn't a problem. The idea was to play 1/2 until I had the hang of 6 max.

Movin on up

So, I played roughly 22,000 hands at 1/2 6 (max) at 2.1BB/100 I am moving up to 3/6 (6 max) and I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to change my game that would help with the...

Re: Live 1/2 NL

I like what you are saying, about PF folding. However, I just can't agree. In a normal game, I would. However, here, position is somewhat lessened, as there is a lot of limping, and a lot of them...

Re: Live 1/2 NL

True, however, this is not a reasonable player. While he can fold a little more than others, he still calls incorrectly, and I have seen him bet out with top pair bad kicker often. That is why I...

Live 1/2 NL

I am at a full-table, 1/2 NL game at the Flamingo. The game is really loose and passive, as always. My reads on the players are as follows:
SB is passive and loose, but not as loose as the rest...

What kind of line here?

I am playing 1/2 NL at the Flamingo, full table.

If you know anything about these games, they are extremily loose, and very easy money. The only problem is that the loose players make bad beats...

Re: AKo...again

I like a turn raise here. A lot of players will call a flop bet with any pair, or nothing, then bet the turn without improvement to induce a fold if they don't believe you. He could have had any K,...
