Re: Good example of letting a weak player hang himself

Good point. My main reason for not betting them preflop is 1) I knew with 4 other ppl in the hand limping wasn't the best idea, and I really was prepared to throw them if an aweful flop came and...

Re: how to handle different bankrolls for a home game

Here is my take on this:

To answer your question, I don't believe there is an easy way to deal with different bankrolls. The stakes are the stakes, if any player, being 13 or not, if they can't...

Here's the structure we play:

$20 no-limit, blinds are .25/.50

Re: Home game, Pocket 10\'s, good fold?

You're exactly right, at least in my mind. Most players who try to get all the money in before the flop, are doing so with very high cards. You could have easily put him on JJ, QQ, KK, AA, in which...

Re: Best No Limit Hold\'em Structure for Small Home Games?

The cheaper rebuy was interesting, I'm not sure of anyone rebuying more then once or twice, although they were more than welcome to. The way I thought of it is, if they are going to play loose...

Re: Best No Limit Hold\'em Structure for Small Home Games?
