Re: Button steal 10/20

How often do you 3-raise with AA/KK over top of an unknown BB reraise? I do it almost never.

I folded of course, but I thought that maybe this could be a spot for an expert play.

Re: I feel like people are taking advantage of my continuation bets...

I c-bet every single time heads-up and like 95% of the time 3-handed. I agree with cardsharkk. When I'm hitting, I can run over the table very easily and stack player after player. When I'm...

Re: Button steal 10/20

I don't want to push because I think 99 are good there. I want to push because I think he'll fold most of the time. Doesn't this look like some sort of blocking raise? If he had AA/KK, why...

Button steal 10/20

10/20 game that started off 5-handed when I sat and is now 8-handed. I've been here maybe one orbit, Villain just sat down, but is a 2+2er who eternally runs well. Effective stacks at 2000 each. ...

Re: beating predictable TAGs

Raise a lot. A lot of predictable TAGs fold way too much if you represent a big hand, so play like you hit big way more often than you actually did.

Re: 5/10 deepstacked fullhouse river play.

I'm not so sure I'd fold to a reraise. A lot of people will play an A like the nuts here.

Re: Going Card Dead Preflop...

If you're card dead and starting to tilt because of it, play some other time. If you get dealt 72o for 14983 hands in a row, you're probably not sitting in a fair game, and I would suggest that you...

Re: Unimproved AQo Vs. Lead

Raise, call, or fold the flop. It doesn't really matter. You definitely shouldn't do the same thing every time.

Re: How to play like a SAG? (super-aggressive)

That sounds like a great way to leak money!

If you're playing a very aggressive style, you have to be a very good hand reader in order to be successful.

Re: Man, My Last 182,000 Hands have really Sucked.

Oh wow. A 90k breakeven stretch doesn't sound like much fun. I think at that point you can consider that you're not really a winning player.

Re: Results

Oh, if he asks for it back, I'd probably give it back. No way I give it back unprovoked though.

Re: Huge River Overbet from a total rock

Reraise preflop or bet the flop and you take the pot. If you have a rock image, at least use it to your advantage.

Re: A crazy holiday poker story and an ethical question (low content)

I keep it no question. I try not to think about where the money comes from, because I know I won't like the answer. I try to remain blissfully ignorant and treat poker as a video game.

Re: Party Cashier

I think it's really stupid that Firepay is a deposit method and not a withdrawal method. Now I think I have to open up a new bank account or something equally dumb.

Re: I don\'t have to bluff anymore.

Call. It's a 1/2 live game. Expect to see something dumb like AK or J4 a decent amount of the time.

In which case you'll do what?

[/ QUOTE ]

If he's really bad in that he'll call down three streets with second pair, I just check/fold missed AK without odds to chase.

Re: Paris Hilton in bed but can\'t get wood. AKs TPTK NFD

How about checkraise pushing the flop? That's a pretty all-star move.

Edit: Or bet the flop like you did and checkraise push the turn.
