Re: I feel like people are taking advantage of my continuation bets...

your examples are all you being out of position. do you have the same problem when you are in position? if not maybe you should reconsider the range of hands you are raising preflop from early-mid...

Re: baby two pair hand

i don't like flat-calling the flop min-raise and then checking the turn. the turn bricks which is good but then you check and give a potential free card. i think leading the turn is better than...

Re: Difficult Hand I had tonight at 1/2

it really depends on how villain is postflop. with those very small bets it's pretty safe to say he doesn't want a fold. of course he most definitely has 22 or 99 with those stats but you have tptk...

Re: 2/5 NL JTs flops two pair

if you can pin him on that range I think calling and getting the money in on a non K/A/(9?) turn is good.

Re: QQ at Prima 3/6 - Weak tight or OK?

your preflop re-raise is too small especially since you have the worst position. Make it at least $100.

Re: Am I overplaying draws again? 200NL

I like a call and check-raise all-in on most turns.

Hand 2: Against a straightforward player just fold to the min raise preflop. You'll get caught in way too many tough situations you don't want to be in.

Re: set against short stack

I think you should raise more on the flop, to $12. Turn you have to put in a nice raise, draw-heavy board and you have SB behind you. If you raised to $12 on the flop then given comparable turn...

Interesting to note that Barry Greenstein says that David Grey is pretty much the only highstakes player that plays ABC:

Re: NL200 Flush push

I don't like the call preflop given that you are OOP and put him on a range of hands that mostly have you dominated. I think the flop play is good though.

Re: Unknown SB leads small on the flop

I see this a lot from a hand like 10-10 trying to cheaply determine if you hit the flop. Of course it could always be a draw looking for a cheap turn card. I raise to 75-90 and probably...

you need to raise more on that flop. $80 seems good.

OK I did call. Turn is A/images/graemlins/club.gif . Bet or check?

I don't think I like leading the turn because a better hand that would call, will go allin and force me to fold.

Re: Bottom pair and flush draw facing min-raise OOP on flop (2/4 6-max

So what would you do? I can't fold there getting 4:1 on a call. Are you saying you would check/fold the flop?

Bottom pair and flush draw facing min-raise OOP on flop (2/4 6-max)

The only read I have is that UTG is loose and aggressive. Note that UTG has <50 BB . Thanks.

6-handed
Relevant stacks:

SB ($79.22)
Hero ($468.10)
UTG ($173.65)

Preflop: Hero is BB with...

Re: 5/10 NL: Set of Ducks on a scary flop.

I would raise the flop to $300 and then shove the turn.

Re: Flop ragged two pair in the blind

oh I didn't see that villain had $70 to start. with that stack size i would re-raise all-in on the turn.

Re: Flop ragged two pair in the blind

personally i would call, then check/call any river without an ace, 7, or spade. But probably there are better ways to play it.
