Re: Am I Wearing a Skirt or a Kilt?

I'd be reraising the flop and betting the turn - you can't put him on AA or QQ can you? 266 hands is not that many to really put a guy on pockets. Heck I've play 266 hands at 10% VPIP which is 8%...

Re: I hate folding

Good fold - you are in a pot with 3 others and SOMEONE has the Queen and you are screwed. That Q also makes for a back door flush and you onle out is a K, Your not even close to having odds to...

Re: Bet/Fold on River or Bet/Call?

I would have check/called looking for a flush. The guy has something and a lot of times fish will wrongly play a flush draw heavy against 1 player.

Hands like this suck but . . . . long run good,...

Re: passive play in passive games, rakes, and the current state of 2/4

If you used Millers Starting hand charts you should be raising about 8% of the time. Add ALWAYS raising if 1st in will get you 3 or 4% more.

Stealing is site dependent. I steal at Crypto almost...

Not the 3 you are looking for and not the limits but 2/4 is covered

Re: AA on an ugly board

I would bet! CO has AK and UTG+1 missed and is not pretty freaked. You can onlu lose to a J I din't think UTG+! would have raised with a J. CO has pockets OR AK which does him no good.

Re: 10k Hand tuneup

Well - perhaps my hatred for Absolute is clouding my judgement. It's the only place I have never done well at.

Folding to a river bet does seem way out of whack. Almost like you can not believe...

Re: I\'ve been taking this line with small flushes

I would have 3 bet the turn without a doubt. Take charge of this hand! Don't give him a free card.

Re: 10k Hand tuneup

I'm finding it odd your'e never 7 off the the button. Always 9 seat games?? Absolute?? What site, it actually DOES play a difference as each network has a different type of player.

Re: Questions on AKo PF Play

And THIS is why it's called gambling. The age old question with no real answer.

It all depends ow you "feel" at that moment. Ace High is not going to win many times. Always remember that! BUT...

Re: Too passive or good fold?

You played it well. I would not have raised the flop. For one thing if the guy is "iinto" it he would raised you right back and THEN what.

This is not a fight I would want to get into plus- you...

Re: Lots Goin\' On with A4s

I'd just call the river. If that was NOT a 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif I would have folded.

Not sure I like the raise on the turn. You are only getting 2 extra bets. If there were MORe then...

Re: losing

Sorry about your downswing. IT happens to everybody. Every thing you do goes wrong and you can not catch a break.

At some point you get SO fruesrated that you think the game is rigged as ever...

Re: Interesting hand I think I played badly, or at least oddly

Check call the reraise and I would seriously think about folding the river to a bet.

It's tough and normally bad to back down with a set but . . .

Re: horrible weak tightness

Check folding would be a great idea. Middle pair and no kicker? Why are you in this hand??

Re: Expert Play according to the Table Coach

Well - hand one you certainly should not be raising in with that and then you wimp out on the flop by calling.

Hand noumner to you are REAL loose fishy by playing those cards.

Sorry but I...

Re: Who the hell IS this guy?

I really don't see that much wrong except for the VPIP. 10BB/100 is not that outlandish at that level and it's very few hands.

Re: Too weak(?)

Pre flop is ok but I would have raised the flop.

I would raise KQo pre flop but limping in with KJo is ok I feel. You are not going to fold the good hands and raising might drive out the bad...

Re: BR question

It really depends on your game - I certainly would test 2/4 for giggles.

I went from .5/1 and pretty much skipped 1/2 and went to 2/4 with about $1400.

2/4 is a level you could play at and if...

Re: Should I quit? 35k hands at 1/2 and still breaking even..Stats in

45% is ABOUT the norm from all the stats I have ever see.

Winning 50% at SD is WAY WAY low (somebody mention that).

Re: My gambler friend thinks online poker is boring

ONline poker IS boring if you are watching! so, what is the big deal.

Winning (earning) 1K a month playing low limit 40 hours a month is not that bad though.

Just smile as you walk past him to...
