Re: River fold against maniac?

He has shown several bluffs over how many hands? If he is bluffing >12% of the time here then you should call.

Re: 3rd barrel against massive donkey

Check the turn and bet the river. Why bet the turn if you know he will not fold? There is enough value in a river bet given the read, but the turn bet sucks IMO.

Re: 66 oop

Did you edit that? I swore there was no "2" there before(or I was just to drunk to see it). Regardless the pot is still too small with that many villians to follow. If the turn was the 5...

Re: Stat Question...

Generally yes, but as it is often pointed out, bad players with 5% PFR do not always raise the best 5% of hands. For example, they love to limp with AA and KK and punish you when your AQ hits Q-high...

Re: 66 oop

So you lead the turn with a pair of sixes with 4 to a flush on the board (and 2 overcards), four villians left to act, in a 2.5 BB pot? What's not to love?

Re: I bet that you look good on the dancefloor....

I think we have to raise the flop to try and clean up some outs (?and maybe buy a turn free card) with such a large pot but I still would fold the river UI against an unknown PF capper.

Re: SH rookie post 2: 99 issues

Easy fold here with cold callers on flop - we are definitely drawing to 2 only outs. The other option is to check the flop and see what happens. If it is checked around and the button raises, a ck...

This really is a classic essay. I have tried to pass it on to those who will listen (including Guruman). Another great article from the same author for your enjoyment...

Re: More $0.50/1 6-max or $1/2 full?

6-max is the future of online poker (take that to the bank).

Re: 2/4: Flopped set, board gets nasty.

I play it the exact same.

Calling the flop and waiting to raise on the river is ok with a rainbow flop (but obviously not ideal if you know the turn will bring your boat and someone else's trips)....

Re: QQ ugh.

This is an easy call down against an aggressive player. Against an unknown I'm not sure. I think jaxup makes a good argument for not raising the turn.

For those recommending raising the turn, if...

Re: Givign up too easily?

Extremely hard to comment on these hands without any read at all but I'll give it a go:

Hand 1 - i think this fold is ok if MP is a reasonable player. But, you are getting 13:1 with 2-4 outs (if...

Hero can't be SB because villian acts first.

I think we have to add AA,KK, AQ to the hands the villian might have here.

Re: Turn decision with a double gutshot.

I think what everyone is saying is that calling the turn is a small mistake but not betting the flop is a big one.

With 3 outs we need 16:1.

Re: 15k Owltacular hands (stats post)

Agree you should probably find a few more places to raise preflop (do as i say not as I do).

Missing value bets on the river?

Overall looks good to me. *&^%$ we pay a lot of rake.
