Re: scary river

[ QUOTE ]
I play it the same.

I think standard reasoning applies on the river. You're probably beaten. But you have only one opponent, so don't fold for one bet.

I see no reason to call this raise if he is not the least bit tricky but i have been getting my head bashed in lately so take this fwiw. I guess the only reason to pay this off would be to see what...

Re: 3 bet or turn raise?

Re: Flopping Middle Pair - What to do ???

Hi Jonny your pot size is goofed up. The flop should be 8sb, the turn should be 7bb and the river 10bb. I think the turn and the river are the only questionable streets here. On the turn getting 8:1...

Re: BB special, flops the stupid end; What to do now?

I raise the flop and face everyone with 4:1. SB could also be value betting his OESD and check the turn. If you just call now someone in late position may raise their draw or made hand and SB may not...

Re: To passive?

I think bet/folding the river is much better than check/calling. His turn check is either a trap or he wants to see a cheap showdown with his 10x, A3 or whatever. If he was free carding you on the...

Re: my first sssh post!!!! did i get the acronym wrong?

Hi slim this really isn't a free showdown raise because you can't fold to a 3-bet here with your flush draw and given the fact that he just called your turn raise i think you can value bet the river.
