Thankyou River !!!
Should I have folded this on the turn? I suspect I should have, but the pot was so large. I guess in the end button got what he deserved cold calling preflop with 87o.
Anyway the new year has got...

Re: 2/4: AK, A Free Showdown for QTip...
I agree with Silky that this is an excellent free showdown raise.
An alternative line which I probably would have taken (possibly incorrectly) is to raise the flop, bet the turn and check the...

Re: Tricky KJs hand
Villain showed down a pair of 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif to take the pot with a set of 2's. I guess I was lucky he did not 3 bet the turn or raise the river.
Thanks...

Re: Free card, free showdown, or stay aggressive?
I would certainly bet the turn, but I think the river decision is quite close.
My natural instinct is generally to take free showdowns in these situations, if I have anything less than top pair,...

Re: when do you slow down here?
The only hand that beats you is AK, but if MP is a TAG he can't have AK or he would have 3 bet pre flop, particularly if he things you are a LAG.
If you are cofident MP thinks you are a LAG I...

Re: What\'s your line for this one?
Without any reads I think I would check fold the flop, but perhaps I am just weak tight.
Almost all hands that 3 bet will have either an A or a higher pocket pair than 10's. The pot is small you...

Re: Waiting until the turn to raise
You must cap the flop. You have enormous pot equity.
The hands in which SSH recommends waitng to the turn to raise are those where there are a lot of dangerous turn cards. This is not the case...

At the $0.5/1 table I was generally able to directly join a a table with 8 or 9 players and a relatively high average pot size.
At the $1/2 tables...

Which is a better micro limit hand QJo or J10o?
They are both group 5 hands and I think QJo is ranked 1 position higher than J10o, but I am becoming convinced that J10o is the better hand in the loose $0:50 $1:00 games.
I guess the small sample...

Re: How many raises is this flush worth?
SoCalPat got it right. UTG had Kx /images/graemlins/spade.gif so my hand is no good.
I guess also you are correct in that with 15 probable outs I should be raising the flop 1st time round.
