Re: Coin flip middle of a tourney, do you take it?

Re: Coin flip middle of a tourney, do you take it?

Oh come on now.

Even if he's seen his opponent pick up 1 each AA,KK, and QQ in the first two hours and open-raise 3-4x each time, he can't discount that he may have one of those 3 hands this time...

Re: flopped trips - any escape from the donk?

[ QUOTE ]
I always fold a set on the flop if there is a possible flush or str8 draw. You have to preserve your tournament life and it's just not worth the gamble. Wait for a better spot.

Re: flopped trips - any escape from the donk?

Sorry, but the way your original post reads is that without the preflop reraise, the pot would be smaller on the flop, thus giving hero a better chance to NOT get it all in the middle against an...

Re: Coin flip middle of a tourney, do you take it?

FWIW, I'd auto-push here 90% of the time. The other 10% would be those times when the min-raise seemed out of place for my opponent, and I'd have to evaluate deeper.

The reason I'm responding...

Re: Huge stack vs aggressive Chip Leader (Party 500k).

If he's done this to me 3 times already, then I'm not raising his BB here without a hand that I'm ready to push over his reraise with. What was your plan when you raised?

Given your desciption of...

Re: AKs versus large overbet.

Your #s for BB's chip stack look screwed, but if he really is all in and you're calling 8500 to win 12,800 (getting 1.5:1), then you are break even against a range of AA-KK,AKs/AKo.
