Is it possible to join a rakeback site if you're created a play account at one of the poker sites and have not yet deposited?

Re: Affiliate cut of rakeback

So when did this start happening? I've never had any signups and no action has been taken.

But then again if's 20-25%, it may be less than I can get from big affiliate which may be why I'm still...

Re: Affiliate cut of rakeback

I ask because I play as my own affiliate on Party. Don't know the exact number but 30% seems to be what I'm logging. But it's too much of a hassle maintaining 2 identities.

Affiliate cut of rakeback

What is their portion? If they're giving back 15-30%, how much are they keeping?

Re: PokerTracker Performance and SQL

Yep, like I said it's poor programming. I wonder if the author is doing something as silly as N+1 search lookup somewhere.

Re: POKER SOURCE ONLINE TREATS NEW CUSTOMERS POORLY

Unbelievable. Most of the sites generate so much money, that giving a little goodwill by correcting a common mistake would seem the right thing to do.

All the people that said tough luck, it's...

I totally sympathize with you. I have a Dell 8250. I've already upgraded to Postgres. My database size is about the same as yours. I have about 150 new files to import. When I run the damn...

I'm looking to win my way into the main event next year. I want to start as soon as possible. Which site already offers year round WSOP satellites? If there are a lot, which one is the best?

Re: Poll: Your favorite / least favorite characters from the 2005 WSOP

I liked it when the Sheik looked like he was going to kick Matsuow's ass after Mike told him to shut the f**k up. Everyone remembers when Matsuow bullied Raymer last year with the small/big balls...

Poker fantasy, PSP/Nano offer.

I see Poker Fantasy has IPod Nanos and Sony PSP in their store. Anyone clear the bonus, was it quick? 2500 points to get either item. It's 5 points per one dollar racked.

Re: What do you do with your party poker points??

I got the license plate. Needed one and it's different.

But yeah freerolls. I did see that new poker site offering the Nano and PSP in their store. That got me to wondering which site has the...

Re: Is playing PowerBall currently +EV???

It's not +EV because the odds are so large, you could play a lifetime and never even hope of hitting it. Positive expectation involves having a remote chance, 1 in 146mil is not even close to...

Re: Blackjack vs Poker

The innate ability I'm referring to is mathematical skills, like memory and the ability to quickly calculate the odds.

But you're right, once you're talking about the top 5-10% players, it's no...

Re: Blackjack vs Poker

Spoke with my friend. If you take his biggest win, a weekend session that netted about $8-10k (it was a lights out session). Then his hourly win rate comes out to be $80-100. But exclude that win,...

Ouch, belligerent are we. As a poker player I don't enjoy any of these "easy" perks you so readily get. A free room for 2 to 3 nights is a real perk. Casino generally only give out discounted room...

I had been trying to find out what a good hourly BJ rate was. My friend appears to be doing $80-100 per hour. It is widely divergent from your numbers. But I believe he steps it up after a while....

What? You've never been in a situation with bottom set, the board shows a 4 flush on the river. Opponent goes all-in. Compound the fact that you've built up your stack all night to a respective...

Thanks. Well, I plan to use the hotel just for sleeping and a quick cleanup. I thought maybe I could get it down to $60 a day.
