Re: Jmans Always Draw (5/10 6max)

You played this hand great. This guy is drawing dead. No reason to raise more on turn.

Where is that post about the wasted foriegn guys. The German guy can only say "SHIP IT" and he spilled his drink all over the table. That post was HILARIOUS. I want to send it to some of my...

Re: Moving up gradually vs. jumping into the deepend

No, not unless you are an extreamily fast learner with all-star potential. If you jump into the best game in LV fresh off the TV, there is no way you would end up on top. The players would take so...

Re: Running good, running bad... running normal?

Side question: Do you ever adjust your play to how you are running at the table??

Re: Running good, running bad... running normal?

Ok, so apparently you don't adjust your play to how well you're running. Or you play way more reckless when you're running bad. Anyway, thanks for the response.

PS: Take care of that day and...

Re: Running good, running bad... running normal?

Ok, interesting. You do adjust your game to how lucky you are at the table. That is what I was looking for. In response the other part of your post, I've run like that before too. Making great...

Running good, running bad... running normal?

I've been playing poker seriously for the last 5 years. I've read a lot of books and played a lot of hands, thanks to the internet. Whenever my friends use to ask me what the difference was between...

Re: Folding a Really Pretty hand 5/10 6 Max

Does this guy reraise preflop with ak?? If so, that's the only hand I see you beating in this situation. Must fold. He has kq, kj, set 4's, or AK. Your draw isn't profitable enough.

Re: NLHU question - blind minraise defense strategy

Whenever you reraise pre-flop, just put a pot sized bet down on the flop. Put him to the test, and let him know you're re-raises mean a big call for him on the flop too. The hands you are...

you should be more concerned about how people view you, not how you want to be viewed.

Re: AKs, give me a line

You played it, so what flop were you looking for??? Push your stack in the middle of the table and hope for the best.

Re: 5/10 Online--Lost on the turn...

Big raise here. This guy has no reason to bet out. If he was strong he would check considering you bet flop. He either hit a queen or is drawing. RAISE IT UP.

Re: Restealing.

I don't like to do it. It encourages bad play, and hard decisions. If you're going to do it, you better know he's trying to steal. So, only in live games. On-line, it's very risky.

Re: Bad Downswing - multiple hand analysis - Hands 1-4

hand 1: No reason to raise. You might have been beat that hand, but you have to assume you have the winner. So many good draws out there, just call the flop and let that pot get juicy.

Cool post. Liked your logic. I think you played the hand well, and am surprised you weren't excited to move in on the turn. I've played against aggro players that like to make large bets with AA,...
