Do you take a different line on the river

No real reads on villan other than semi-loose and calls down too much.

The river /images/graemlins/spade.gif sucks but why would he shut out the field on the flop with a draw, but then again he...

Weird played AA hand

Both villans are average for 5/10 with UTG being the weaker of the two. UTG raise =AJ+. Buttons 3-bet= PP 88-AA/AK. I played this one strangly and I will explain later.

What do you put these guys...

You make it sound like getting raised by CO would be a good thing. That would suck.

Also, you say we bet so KT dosn't check through, but then you say KT is value raising if...

Re: KJo - what do you think of this line?

Nick, do you agree that you must call a CO raise once MP calls. What's nice about this play is you trap MP for two(most likely once he calls your lead)and you don't miss bets from a KT check-through....

Re: Rest of Flop and Turn

I would just call the turn. Against six players and that board I really think you need a Q river to take this down. Raising is only going get it 3-bet no one is going to fold and even if you are best...

Re: What is going on here?

I don't know. With only the descriptions of Lag and Tag to go by it is hard for me to put MP2 on 77(I think he would tried to isolate a limper and a lag PF and would have raised the turn. Not to...

Re: TT and a turn auto-bet

Well I often check in this spot. I figure what is calling that I beat. If I'm going to put in a bet I'd rather it be collecting a bet from and induced bluff on the river. Problem there is we give KQ...

You are getting 5:1 immediate odds on your call (based on SB calling the cap); you are pretty much playing for set value, so I think you have a call. Between the two players,...

Re: AK turn decision

I fold the turn. You don't know where you are in the hand, but can be pretty sure you're drawing. If you actually have six outs here your 7:1 in a 8BB pot. Barely a +EV situation.

Re: I get owned and a half.

You don't give any player descriptions but against a straightforward player you know you're toast on the flop raise. Okay so let's say you're 3-betting the flop so you can get capped and fold (are...

Re: I raise with KK UTG, BB calls (Prima 1/2 HE FL)

After this player 3-bets the flop you really need to slow down. After capping the flop you could pretty much fold to the turn bet. I would have just called down after the flop 3-bet hoping I still...

Re: 3 Betting the Flop in Position HU

I rarely would 3-bet the flop back when I was playing 2/4 with a hand I was pretty sure was best. Popping the turn was the superior play by far. There was no point in 3-betting for deception...

Re: I need to start doing this more

I think you have to bet this river. It's the only way we're winning this pot unless mp picked up a draw on the turn. I don't like PF at all. I think we are behind mp's cc range a huge majority of the...

Raise the flop because you can't raise if a /images/graemlins/spade.gif falls on the turn and you have multiple callers to the turn. You are also guaranteed that both players are calling a flop...
