Re: Turn Decision

[ QUOTE ]
The OP mentioned that villain did play some weird T high hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

I meant JT+ and T8s+, not two pair hands. Even if we rule out all two pair hands (which I don't think...

Re: Stealing with AA

[ QUOTE ]
A little FPS on the flop, this is an easy 3 bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

How do you figure? In a situation like this I wait to pop the turn almost every time.

Stealing with AA

No stats on villain and only one table read. I opened and got one cold-caller, then he 3-bet from the blinds with KK and everyone called. Flop comes AAx and he gets two callers. He checks and...

Re: How many hands before you are confident of your win rate?

If you have beaten any game over 130,000 hands, then yes, you are almost certainly a winner. However, if you're beating it for less that 1 BB/100 I'd highly recommend moving down in limits and/or...

Re: Turn Decision

[ QUOTE ]
Well, obviously you called down and weren't happy about the result. Without a spectacular read that this person is 100% ABC, I'd be calling down as well and hoping to find AT, 2 diamonds,...

Turn Decision

Villain was something like 35/11 with an AF of 1-something after 150 hands. With this uncoordinated board, I don't think two pair is very likely, even for a 35% VP$IP. Also, I remember his flop and...

Re: Am I Wearing a Skirt or a Kilt?

[ QUOTE ]
If you were confident enough of your read on this guy you could pull a modified WA/WB line

[/ QUOTE ]

I was at least 50% sure he had AQ or 99.

Re: best way of keeping track of fish/buddies at Stars

[ QUOTE ]
I have written an application for this, that is currently functional, but has not been fully debugged yet. I am interested in a) finding some testers and b) finding a place to host.

Clearly someone who would return the wallet is only interested in being a good samaritan. If they wanted money, they would keep the wallet. I, for one, would probably find it a little...

Re: I Just Cold Called With JJ Preflop

With JJ you really don't want to be 4-5 handed. Besides the fact that you have an equity edge, 3-betting will generally knock out the BB, and if one of the limpers folds you are in pretty good...

Yes, reraising might be a little too much on the flop. You only raised though, and that's the only option here.

Re: Folded TPTK on flop?

Given the pot size I am okay seeing the turn, but I would fold unimproved then. This is a very scary board to have two TAGs raise on after cold-calling pre-flop. I think you will be up against 99...
