RESULTS

Well maybe this wasn't as donkish as I thought, the consensus seems to be to push which is what I did. Villian had K /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif , oh well. I really...

Re: monotone boards

I don't normally muck this from the button, in fact I'm happy to call 1 raise with it. I usually muck when it's been reraised in front of me though.

Berge,
I like to play alot of hands when I...

So I\'m a donk

First orbit so no reads. I would usually muck this pf but when I first sit I like to play alot of hands.

Re: A good pot odds link

3:1 means you will miss 3 times and make it once. Actually 3:1 is the odds of catching on the next card, since you have 2 cards to come if you're allin you're actually nearly even money to hit your...

Re: Straight draw hand

I'm not neccesarily saying it was a bad play, but I think you could accomplish the same goal for much less. I believe if he's going to fold he would do it for 6 and in the event he doesn't fold you...

Re: Straight draw hand

You don't think stack sizes are a little large for a push?

Re: A good pot odds link

Just add up your outs subtract them from # unseen cards and divide. GS + FD is 47 - 12 = 35/12 or ~3:1, and you should probably push not call /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Re: calling preflop reraises at low stakes

You c/f when you only hit TP, what you're looking for is a cheap monster(well 2 pr at least). Using your example of KT you're looking for a flop like KxT or JQA, notice how screwed villian is if he's...

Re: Played intelligently or moronic? Still learning.

If villian is truely "very passive" then I'm folding to his flop raise. Passive players don't raise with air and they don't fold overpairs. Fortunately for you he actually appears to be weak-tight...

Re: I\'m weak - ace + flush draw

There really needs to be a raise in here somewhere, I wold probably do it on the flop but the turn isn't bad either. JMO

Re: Keep losing with AA. Do you like the fold?

When I first read this I thought you were joking, after reading your other posts I realize you're not. You can't really believe this is a good fold? Keep in mind this is SSNL and villian will have...

Re: how willing are you to take AK to the felt preflop? (nc)

I will very rarely get it in pf w AK, unless villian is a complete moran. That said I will almost never get it allin pf w KK/AA /images/graemlins/shocked.gif. 3 betting pf(which is generally what it...

Re: I\'m a winning player, but I\'m too tight!

adding in SC's and suited one-gappers is an easy way to spike the VPIP, and don't be afraid to call raises with these hands(when in position and raiser is aggro PF). Also playing 8 tables I'm not...

Re: QQ line check - I\'m pretty sure I messed up somewhere!

So pot is ~$100 on flop and you lead for 25? Also what are stack sizes?I'm thinking a push is probably best. JMO

Re: Eliminating Post-Flop

Doesn't seem to optimal to me. You lose the most when behind and make nothing when ahead.

Re: I am new to NL, KQ hand vs lag

I can think of many hands that a LAG would play in this fashion and very few of them are ahead of hero. Yes against this type of player TP2K is worth all my chips. I've noticed a theme in your posts...

Re: I am new to NL, KQ hand vs lag

This makes no sense at all. If you're ahead on the turn you're still ahead on the river. If you're not ahead on the turn why are you calling? OP said villian is LAG so how do you come to the...

Re: I am new to NL, KQ hand vs lag

At some point you need to raise, c/c is not a very good strategy. Given the texture of this board I would prefer to raise the flop. JMO

Re: 100 NL - JJ - coordinated flop

Raising this flop is absolutely the right play. If he calls I'll check behind on the turn if given the chance and call a resonable bet on the river. If he leads at the turn I'm folding. JMO
