AA on an ugly board

CO is 29/12/2 over 50 hands. He tries to get tricky sometimes. Seen him do strange stuff like raise from BB w/ 55, then bet/call the flop with an underpair. Oh he managed to spike a 5 on the turn...

Re: 99 flops set, Big pot against LAG\'s

well, I did 3-bet. Button folded and BB called with J8o. That's pretty stupid.

I really thought that KQ was unlikely sonce none of them raised it preflop. I didn't consider K4/K9 enough though,...

Re: KK on a scary board.

ok, sounds good.

I bet and BB raised. MP3 calls 2 cold. I call.

River is 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif

Would you call this "improved" or "unimproved" ??

I'd rather see the board pair...

Re: 99 -- possible leak

[ QUOTE ]
how about 3 betting the flop and folding to a cap?

[/ QUOTE ]

if we 3-bet the flop, what would you do on the turn? bet/fold, bet/call, check/call?

Re: 77 with position against a TAG.

PokerStove is nice but it won't help you to know where you are in the hand when 2 overcards land. 33% equity is a bit deceiving IMO. Its true that you have the equity but you'll have a harder time...

Re: Is A Higher Limit Game Easier For Some People?

Possibly, if they're bad.
Weird huh?
What I mean is that if a player is unable to adapt to for example a loose low-limit game, he may have a higher earn-rate if he consistantly can find tight-weak...

Re: The Good, The Bad....The Ugly? (9/12)

[ QUOTE ]
In hand two, the PF call is fine. Even if I pokerstove this guy and give him an 8% range of raising hands, we're still making a mistake by folding when we're getting 3:1.

Re: JTs

Just a question here... Would raising the flop to try and knock out BB be a good idea? I rarely give credit to shortstacked players when they bet/raise. It usually is a desperation move, that we...

WA/WB against LAG\'s

I'm looking for a good way to handle WA/WB situations against a LAG/maniac.

Here's an example: CO was very aggressive but not extremely loose. (35/15/5)

Re: Nut flush on paired board

thanks everyone for the great responses. As most of you figured CO had a tiny flush and Button was on KT for the flopped 2-pair.

There seems to be some confusion about player characteristics, when...

Nut flush on paired board

Ok, I'm pretty new to 2/4 (200 hands...) so I guess I'm questioning my plays and analysing a lot more than usual. I also find 2/4 quite different from 1/2, hence my insecurity.
