Re: AJo Played bad?

[ QUOTE ]
Bet the flop. You have a BDFD, 3 clean outs to the nut straight, and an overcard. Play could change quite a bit from this point, depending on whether BB calls or raises. The way you played...

Re: TPTK in a huge pot, how to protect my hand?

[ QUOTE ]

On the flop, I'd check, planning to raise one back to me and fold two back to me.

If I'm only called on the flop, I'll lead the turn but probably fold to a raise.

TPTK in a huge pot, how to protect my hand?

only a couple orbits in, so no real reads. neither villan has has 3-bet or capped pre-flop since I sat down.

MP1 has been being LAG-y - seeing 70% of flops, and raising about 10% or so, AF of 2.

Re: RIVER

The rest of the hand is not as rife with speculation. When the A/images/graemlins/heart.gif fell on the turn it made me really wish that I had raised the flop since it wouldhave allowed...

9 outs: 3 2s, 3 3s and 3 4s. The twos give you the win, the others give you a chop.

[/ QUOTE ]

actually 13 - there are the 4 5s too.

confusing A2s hand

The table was pretty passive. I had about 3 orbits on the villan. he had been playing loose-passive pre-flop, and aggressive post flop - his stats were around 30 V$IP/3 PFR/3 AF.

My line seems...

Re: J5 from BB 0.5/1 6 max

i think the 3-bet on the flop is OK because it's 6-max and players play aggressively. but it's pretty marginal. i don't think you lose much by calling the raise.

I'd check/call the river. no one...

Re: KQs- Comments

pre-flop - i think you played it fine. capping might only get out the button and sb, which you don't want - you want them to pay off your hand when you hit it.

i think you should just call the...

Re: Top pair ten kicker+BD draws, 2 cold to me on the flop

[ QUOTE ]

I'd 3-bet the flop most of the time, but if MP3 is a true .3AF, I'd fold. Depends on how many hands you've developed this "read" over.

Re: How many outs?

[ QUOTE ]
Perhaps we should start by talking about how many outs we're giving our hand here.

on the first flop, I'd say around 4 - 4.5:

.5 - for the...

Keep in mind BB is LAA and this is a great chance to knock out SB and get heads up. I'd play this hand the same way.

Re: QJo TP River Trouble

I'm raising this preflop to try and isolate the limper. this hand plays better against fewer opponents - i want the poster and blinds out.

i think i am just calling the flop. I don't see what you...
