Re: anti poker tracker

They don't need to ban tracking software. They can modify the poker software to make tracking more difficult while still allowing players to track their own data.

List from easy to not so hard.

Re: I am a wuss.(LC)

Why raise preflop with QTs with two limpers? Is this standard play in 6max?

Re: Blind defense ... Is this even close to +EV?

Just call preflop, you're out of position, and the hands a rock raises with preflop could easily dominate you. Also, if the board cames rags, or coordinated low cards then the cold call makes a donk...

Re: Confused

Raise the flop and turn. Drive out the draws.

River sucks, big pot, call/fold looks good.

Re: Live hand - triple check raise!

I like betting out on every street with trips especially with the read on UTG. The UTG with KK is going to raise you on both the flop and the turn giving you a chance to 3-bet on the turn and...

Re: JJ vs TAG OOP

Would a TAG really call an UTG raise with A3s out of position? I'm thinking 88-JJ, AQ-Ts, KQ-Js, AKo.

How does the SB see you and MP2? Is he making the call because he thinks you're LAG or LPP....

Re: 2 Pair - Slow Play or Raise

1) call and give everyone else odds to call with their draws, adding 6 SB (1 for 4) to the pot with 5 opponents
2) raise, everyone correctly folds their draws and MP2 calls, adding 4 SB (2 for 2) to...

Re: 99 - I suck at playing \"Under\"pairs

Check-raise on the turn, fold to a three bet, and check-fold the river. The extra aggression of a check-raise can win it outright and make the opponent start thinking the may have the a losing hand....

Re: Swing GUI calling C++... Is this efficient?

Is there a reason why you think C++ would be significantly more efficient than Java at the calculations you are planning? If not, do it all in Java. It'll be a good learning exercise.

Re: To the fat oaf at the Borg 10/20 on Saturday (OT)

I'm so upset! As a fat guy I really thought I had a chance with the hot (and not so hot) chicks that hang around the poker room. I'm going to quit playing poker completely now. You've just chased...

should the fish be respected?

How can you develop the skill to take advantage of someone's weaknesses and at the same time not develop a large disrespect for them? Or do you have to believe your opponents are fools, donkeys,...

Re: 99 out of position.

You are trying to convince the table you have a five, but at a beginner's table I don't think the pair of kings is going to fold.

This donkey never folds a set.

Winning Low Limit Hold'em makes it clear that a set should almost always try to see a showdown. I good donkey tries to get to that showdown as expensively as possible. The following hand we see...

squeezed between agressive and passive

Button is passive calling station. Calls even at the end when he has the nuts. This is the BB first hand at the table (no read). Should I have folded this on the flop?

Re: Party policy on \"unfair advantage\" software

It would be quite simple to completely remove the advantage of data mining by replacing the names of opponents at the table and in the hand histories with generic "seat n" labels.

Re: From the Text Book: HAND READING

AQ -- he has top pair and probably thinks he is the one in charge of the hand. Your lack of a 3-bet on the turn makes makes him think the top pair is good.

Re: QQ Against thinking TAG...

Button has a weak ace and the three bet on the flop will will make him slow down. He'll probably check call down to the river.

Re: 3-betting AQ PF

He makes and bets for value his flush on the turn because he doesn't want you to check. You could check if the flop bet was a position/PFR lead bet.
