Re: Maybe slightly OT - $ share in MTT winnings

Factors:

1. You did not pay for the tournament entry fee.
2. You did not discuss a % ahead of time.
3. He obviously didnt offer. Its an uncomfortable situation for BOTH of you.
4. You...

Ugh. Satellites suck. Its 1:30, I have work at 8, and I can't go to sleep. Nothing worse than 1st being 12k, and 2nd being....$900. And I'm obsessive. Arr.

99 HU for Australia Package~

Opponent in this hand had been fairly passive, playing his big hands hard, and letting others go. But had shifted gears once HU, and was signficantly more aggressive.

Here's the hand. Do you...

Re: Your Saw Flop%

I'm trying my best to tighten back up again. I looked back at some of my rebuy victories, and was usually around 7-10%.

Re: 10/20, 8-8 against loose aggressive 3 bettor

Dont post results if you want unbiased responses.

I'd cap it on him if he is that loose and aggressive. Its not even close. Lead the flop, and 3-bet if you get raised. If he caps, you have to...

Re: 15/30 KJo

Scenario 1:

I still think checking is the best solution. I dont think there is any VALUE to betting here. You bet, he folds, you win. Number of bets won/lost after the flop? 0

You bet he...

Have any of you ever had Stars support do this for you? I will be gone for about 1.5 hours before the start, to shortly after it starts, but I am a degenerate, so I wanna play. Anyone had any luck...

Re: 15/30 KJo

No real draws on the board, so I'd probably check behind. If you think he is hijacking your [censored], call his river bet.

Re: 15/30 button 3bet

3bet the flop.

3bet the turn.

Bet the river.

Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win.

Re: OK, these are the hands that may be costing me an extra 2BBs each time

Stats on CO?

I'd 3-bet the flop. What you do based on what he does with your 3-bet is dependant on how he's playing, his stats, etc.

Re: Omaha (NE) Poker Update

I'm talking about the Harrahs Council Bluffs. Thats still the only poker room available.

The 10/20 game usually has only a small waiting list, because that's above what alot of the 5/10...

Hand 1: I called. Turn was the very sexy Ad. Me and the BB got the rest of our money in. BB had 8d5d. PFR had JT, and spent the next 15 minutes berating me. I didnt mind....

I call? (2/5 NL)

Very loose passive game at the Harrahs in Omaha. Lots of limping and cc'ing of raises. Things get alot more aggressive post-flop. 2 people limp UTGish, MP raises to 15, and 2 people call, and its...

I think alot of this has to do with what you are doing.

I've made a conscious effort to do alot less surfing/tv watching, and its...
