Re: 15/30: Tough spot w/ TT in multiway pot
[ QUOTE ]
I would probably raise the flop since this pot is so huge and I don't have to be winning even the majority of the time for this raise to be right. Plus I like to raise.

15/30: Tough spot w/ TT in multiway pot
15/30 Hollywood Park.
Even moreso than other days, this game is playing like a slightly more aggressive 3/6 game. No real reads on anyone at the table, just know it's real loose.

Re: Questionable river value bet?
[ QUOTE ]
It's ok. River is an easy bet after the checking the turn. I would go ahead and bet the turn because you are now getting called down by any Ace (figuring on a split pot).

just calling w/ the nuts in a multi-way pot
6/12 at Hollywood Park.
Pretty good game. plenty of weak loose-passives, etc. There is a whole lot of limping going on in this game and a whole lot of chasing.

Re: Limping In
[ QUOTE ]
I think limping in EP is ok in loose passive games. This way you ensure you usually wont be raised, and you can expect 5-6 handed flops. I dont see this happening often as you go up in...

15/30 Set of nines in multiway pot
This was the 15/30 game at Commerce. It had just started, which means it wasn't the best game in the world since most of the players were the better players from the 9/18 tables. CO had been pretty...

You can't bet this because he's calling with any piece of that board. If he had a big ace too i think he would have 3-bet before the flop and that's the only hand that you can beat that might call....

Question on manipulating pot size
OK, so obviously much has been written on controlling the size of the pot on the flop in order to force opponents to either correctly fold or incorrectly call on the turn when chasing. This makes...
