Re: results

You left out the stats of the original raisor and the 3 bettor is a maniac which makes the argument inconclusive about folding preflop. So your right there really is nothing to talk about except...

Re: results

Re: 10/20: lost in a huge pot - 99

The way the hand played out postflop it looks like the original capper has ak do to his lack of interest on the flop and you would be well served to see him gone. The Sb on the other hand could have...

Re: 10/20: blind defense round 3, part 2 - A9o

I understand you have a small sample size with this guy but the stats you provided are bordering on maniac status. I may have misread the hand but I assume that you think that there is good chance...

Re: I hate this spot

What about calling the flop and raising the turn intending to take the free showdown. If he three bets your toast and gives you a chance to fold a better hand.

Re: ew

I cap that in a second preflop for value, you have the 4th best hand in hold em I dont think its close. Hopefully also capping will eliminate utg. The way you played it I would have wanted to get...

Re: Is this a good preflop fold?

I dont fold this considering its a steal re-steal situation. You have position and get to see how the hand develops. If you were utg and then a non blind 3bets and then gets capped than I would...

Re: Meet My Two New Favorite Players (LC)

I dont know about you but if im the original the raisor I keep firing on the turn with kk through a pair of tens on the turn.
I will bet the turn 100% of the time on the turn with any ace to...

Re: Meet My Two New Favorite Players (LC)

I bet the river once they check the turn. I think there is a very good chance you have the best hand and the turn check looks like a white flag to me granted my views are biased based upon the...

Re: Flop equity.

Have u failed to read my last 5 replys in which I tell you why its good to raise the flop or are u just ignoring them. Considering you have jj it is unlikley that there is another straight draw out...

Re: Flop equity.

Go read the qq hand from the ssh hand problems and this basically documents my argument. If the guy is passive then it will take 1bb to get to the river in a big pot. There are lot more marginal...

Re: Flop equity.

I can think of a bunch of combination that co and utg could have that he is beating. UTG could have a k10, or an under pair. CO could have a flush or straight draw or a pair of threes. 5/10 isnt...

Re: Flop equity.

This hand is straight out of ssh and im not going to argue the fold if you are 100% convinced he would only play a big ace or a set this way but if you arent then its a bad fold.

Re: WD-40 please.. (party 5/10)

You all think just because he is a rock he will try to shut you out with the big ace. I think it is a suspect bet and you have the best hand some of the time I need some evidence of fastplaying...

Re: WD-40 please.. (party 5/10)

Im definatley peeling with all the backdoor draws you have. I see alot of people donk with small pairs when the ace falls trying to shut you out and then give up once you call. I may even raise the...

Re: A hand sweated by Joe Tall

I dont think anybody is ever folding an 8 or an ace at 3/6 so i dont get the value in the raise of the river. If you put them on a draw or middle pair why not raise the turn. There are lot of cards...

Re: finding a fold...

You figure to have the best hand preflop this isnt a ring game aggression is the key if the original raisor decides to wake up and cap im pretty sure you are in trouble and you gain furhter info on...

Re: Doin the fold thing

Worst possible card for you I highly doubt somebody is going crazy with the ace clubs and the cold caller has a pair of fives. Somebody has you beat I think its a good fold.

Re: Re-learning 6-max... overplayed open trips?

I probally cap the flop and if he still bets the turn i may slow down and call but most the time ill raise and the go into call down mode after that. Not much you can do if he has one of the few...

Re: finding a fold...

Thats a tough one if you didnt beat middle pair i would say clear fold but u beat a huge amount of hands he raises with. I three bet the hand pre-flop unlesss he is a nut peddler. I lead and...

What do you guys think of this hand I didnt really like the cap all that much on the flop. Should I fire away when I have the overpair or wait for a safe turn card or just go into calldown mode after...

Re: Pay off the river? 20/40 SH

Based upon the information of the hand I find it very difficult to fold to the raise on the river. The flop check by your opponent is somewhat questionable which some have stated that could either...
