Re: First Attempt at Clarification

Re: $25-$50 NL KJo in the bb

i dont know that i disagree with you but there are a couple potential arguments for checking the turn that i think i do disagree with. i dont think you are getting checkraised by a worse hand very...

Re: I\'m definitely over my head...

i probably just push and hope for the best. your fold equity is not great but its not 0% either. some of the time he will have been peeling on the flop to see if you stopped betting. some of the...

Re: Results

[ QUOTE ]
All,

watcher_uatu was hero in this hand. I have only seen him a few times, but he seems like a pretty decent/reasonable player.

He reraised all-in on the flop and deer called w/ 33,...

Re: Float like a butterfly

for the people advocating a turn bet in this hand are you planning to bet the river as well? the turn check allows the villian a lot more room to put in some money with a worse hand, either as a...

Re: THE TOURNEY IS READY

i didnt mean to start a debate about the structure at this point. i took another look at the ub play money tables and there were a few open this time. i just didnt want to end up spending a...

They would have to be rake free b/c it's disgusting what the rake does.

Re: THE TOURNEY IS READY

it looks to me like cryptologic has a decent number of low limit heads up NL tables so this might be a possibility. the ub play money tables always seem full whenever i have checked.

Re: Value Raise this River? Commerce 10/20

apart from the unpleasantness resulting from a reraise i think there is definitely value in a raise. unless its the case that you never bluff the hand has played out in such a way that its pretty...

Re: Value Raise this River? Commerce 10/20

[ QUOTE ]
The only reason that I wouldn't raise here would be that if I show that I'm not raising top two on the river in this spot, I'd be able to bluff him off any river I feel like unless he has...

Re: The Kane thread shold not have been locked

i agree with mr. flynn. while the point of this forum is strategy in mid/hi NL games it is also a collection of people with a common interest and when tangents come up that are of fairly general...

Re: ps 5/10 deepstacked. Fire again? Turn action?

i think the turn check raise is a mistake. he is letting you draw cheaply and you have good implied odds, take the gift. the turn check raise seems like a good way to let him bet you off your hand...

Re: see mike push. push mike, push

given the way you have described your opponents it sounds like they can have enough hands that you arent folding for the amount of money in play so thats one aspect you dont have to consider anymore....

Re: standard 10-25 NL hand.

Re: 50/100 Bottom Set, Unraised Pot

Re: Party 10/20 Extracting the max, Take 2.
