Thank you. Yea I knew about starting a new section on the right hand side, I just did not know if there was more to the previous section that would have continued on page 20. Even though it is...

Can one of you guys hook up a fellow 2+2er and check your copy to see if I am missing page? I need to make sure if it is an actual error or if the book is just fine.

Re: Why do i start daydreaming when I try to learn something by reading?

I used to have the same problem but I dont anymore. I think its "practice makes perfect." I've notice that I can even read faster now. Before I started playing poker I would not pick up a single...

Re: Running Bad

I would ditch SS and Hellmuths book.

Read WLLH one more time.

Then read SSH over and over and over (I dont care if you "read/studied/re-read" it either). Like I said, read SSH again and...

Re: I am a winning player because....

Because I am disciplined enough to not do dumb $h1t like cold calling raises with AQo against a tight player and limping in UTG with KJo.

Re: Statking?

It is well worth it if you play live. Like Steamboat said it keeps you honest about your game. Plus I keep my live and online stats separate, hence statking for live and PT for online.

I wish I...

Re: I dislike AQ example 1

Why did you reraise an UTG raiser with a weak dominated hand? By doing so it just makes your decisions on later streets that much harder. But since your in the hand, I dont have a problem with how...

Re: What\'s 5/10 like?

I guess the OP can really thank you for the sarcastic response then.

I disagree with you. Its not always the case that a higher limit will be harder than a lower limit, it "just depends."

Re: What\'s 5/10 like?

I really do not think he was being sarcastic. I have read this before that 5/10 is difficult and players find that 10/20 is a lot easier. I think he was being sincere.

Re: B&M limits equivalent to Party?

At the local casino that I play at, their 10/20 game plays like .5/1 Party most of the time. Occassionally it will tighten up and be similar to 3/6 online.

Re: Counting the pot

I use nothumbs way first because like he said it helps with recalling the details of the action later in the hand. You can replay the hand back in your head to help determine with hand reading..etc....

Re: The Wynn poker room is pretty but I am unhappy with the floor.

Was there Saturday 9/10 and played late afternoon to early evening. They had 3 games of 15/30 going and no list. My table broke around 8pm and then I moved to an open seat at one of the other two...

As far as playing live at Sandia, yes, I do enjoy it. The games there are some of the softest that I have seen, though the 10/20 can get a little bit tougher at times.

Re: I am an awful player, plz berate me

I think you played it fine. I disagree with a 3-bet preflop against a TAG. You either fold, or in your case cold call the raise in hopes the two other limpers call to make it worth while for...
