Re: bad river call?

I wouldn't fold this to a button raise. But I would like to hear more from those who would, simply to better understand the reasoning.

With little knowledge of the opponent, this looks like a...

Re: Unlimited Party 30/60 Tables

I really do hope that Party will eventually introduce some limits higher than 30/60. They must realize that eventually their loyal customers are leaving the site for bigger games?

Then again,...

Re: Party adding more 30/60 tables..

Also true, of course. Does this mean that tonight would be a good time for me to take my first shot at the 30? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Extra Party 30/60 tables

I agree. Surely they have some reason for limiting the tables but it doesn't make sense to me. If you 30/60 players want some donations from me, you need to blast PP with emails to add more tables....

Re: Could I have won this if I played differently?

Preflop is fine. You played it well. Did everything you could to win the pot. If CO is gonna call 2 cold preflop and on that flop with that hand, he's certainly not going anywhere on the turn. ...

In spite of all the jokes about the size, I got a kick out of this post. I make a trip to the mountains one a year for a week of fly-fishing for trout. Next one is coming up in June, woohoo!

Re: In the middle of a very long down streak

The best advice anyone could give you is to just take a break for a week or two. Reflect on your game. Study. Read. But don't play any hands.

It's amazing how therapeutic and emotionally...

Re: worst brain fart during a game?

1) Flopped quads with 66 online NL. Accidently clicked Check/Fold instead of Check/Call. Someone bet into me, and my quads disappeared into the cyber-muck.

2) Moved all-in for 1k on the river...

We need a standardized XML format for hand histories.

Been thinking about this for a long time, although I haven't lifted a finger in implementation. Anyone working on any type of poker software can see how much easier life would be.
