Re: Posting some of my own hands tonight:

My guess is that it is very close and if I were in the game my indecision would be tilted either way based on whatever knowledge I had on the players.

Re: Curtains hand #5 - Attempted bubble pwnage with 72o

[ QUOTE ]
I don't like your preflop raise amount though... I would rather put in more preflop, and be certain that the person has a hand.

They're a shorter stack on the bubble who...

Re: Curtains hand #6 - ITM with TPNK

If this is the case then SB is clearly a donk and is could easily be trapping, but instead of trapping someting like AA like a good player he likely has something like A3 to "trap" curtains with. In...

Re: NC - I thought this was funny.

If your queen was top pair then you probably should have been betting it.

Re: Curtains hand #6 - ITM with TPNK

This sucks, it looks the SB knows that curtains is aggressive and could have been trying to trap something like AA. I would still call the flop push though.

Re: Curtains hand #5 - Attempted bubble pwnage with 72o

The blinds don't have to be huge to bully with a big stack on the bubble.

Re: Curtains hand #4 - Cold calling UTG raise with AJ

My guess would be that UTG is a LAG donk who got his early chip lead by making a stupid play. Curtains knows UTG is a LAG donk and feels that he can play AJs profitably here.

this is a stupid debate because there is no such thing as an infinite bankroll.

Re: Who\'s going to switch to Stars because of the VIP program?

It seems doubtful that it will have this much impact, but perhaps this will get enough volume in the higher stakes to make it possible to 8 table $200 games. Maybe it has changed, but last time I...

Re: shameless bluff post

How can you be certain that preflop he wasn't trapping something like AK? If you are certain that he wouldn't trap with this SB complete then shouldn't you have pushed preflop?

Re: Best entry point to Mini-Steps

if you're concerned with maximizing your $ per hour then play regular SNGs instead of steps (unless of course you can buy into the top level).

I was just being stupid and thinking that sometimes I would lay it down with these stacks in level two. In the actual hand I agree that you shouldn't be laying down 66 with 18bb.

Wow, I'm out of it. I orginally thought that this was level two and didn't see the comment that the villain was an extreme lag. Against a LAG I think that this is a fairly straightforward call, but...

Re: 5$ total bluff, well executed?

I have never made a preflop call anywhere close to this in a SNG.
