Re: KK with a very very coordinated board

I'm not seeing why hero would have less than 33% equity on the flop.

Somebody with the A spades (9 flush + 2 A = 11 outs) has 1 - (36/47)(36/46) = 40% equity
OESD has 6 outs due to the spades...

I assume your hard drive partitions are NTFS?

Try this program to make a bootable floppy to access NTFS partitions that win2k and XP use:

Re: program to fix harddrive problem

Will the PC no longer boot up or are the hard drives the only bad component? The PC that you are plugging your "bad" drives into may not be able to recognize your "bad" drives because they are big.

Re: program to fix harddrive problem

What type of OS are you plugging the possibly bad hard drives into?

Do the following:

how many drives are...

Re: folded TPTK there...

At first glance I think you should call down, but now I'm not so sure. I'm having trouble putting him on a hand that would call two cold on the flop and then raise the turn when the...

Re: Two hands...

Hand 1:

I like this if this if it is the last bet you're putting in unless you improve. The only thing that makes me hesitant is the board is draw heavy, which is offset by holding the J and...

Re: The turn donk in 6 Max.

The only way that I've been able to take on turn donks is by really paying attention to the game. I'll try and take notes and keep track of any non-standard plays. The times you don't have a good...

Re: 1/2 six max- 99

I'm calling this river bet without a second thought against an unknown. If you had a read you could consider folding.

I'm unsure of the flop play. I can't believe the SB capped preflop and then...

Re: What is your 6-max vpip/pfr?

Only 2.2k hands.

VPIP 29.36 and PFR 18.95

I'm new to 6-max and still learning.

Re: Blind Defence: check or bet this turn?

I'm in favour of donking the turn as well. As long as villian isn't aggressive enough to three-bet, and has at least a 10% percent chance to fold, I think betting the turn is best. I give hero 10...

Re: Some hands to consider if you want to help a noob

Hand 1:

I think you can let this go on the turn. Villian called your flop raise and now bets into you on the turn. I'd play the flop the same as you did though. A read would be helpful on...

Re: How\'s Your Turn Play?

hand 1: bet

- gives a chance to win the pot now
- may allow us to collect an extra river bet if the flush card hit by checking to induce a bluff
- it is doubtful that you'll be exposed to a...

Re: Marginal overpair: call down or no?

You have to raise here. There 16.5 BB in the pot and two more players to act that probably have 4 outs each to beat you. Make them fold or call incorrectly by raising.

SB's turn bet is a little...

Re: How agressive with overcards/

Even though someone with as little as 3 outs can call a flop bet, I think betting the flop has some merit. There is a chance someone might incorrectly fold in this large pot and you might get a free...

Re: Raise, lead, now what?

Is the flop bet in this situation correct though?

1. Decent size pot on the flop.
2. Backdoor straight, backdoor flush, and one overcard.
3. Small number of opponents.
4. Opponents may assume...

Re: are we liking this turn check/raise?

I *think* the example on page 142 assumes that the pot is not multiway either.

Re: 2 more hands i\'m not sure if I played right

I suck at playing overcards.

If your going to raise the turn like you did I think you have to bet the river since none of the draws are completed by the river card. The problem with doing this is...

Anyone willing to transfer $10 into a Stars account if I transfer $10 into your party account? I'll transfer first and I'm dead money just bloating the prize pool.

Thanks

Re: AKo wierd line vs TAG

It would be a small mistake for us; however, wouldn't it give the villian the opportunity to make a bigger mistake that we would profit from on the turn?

Re: An interesting hand. Play my cards for me.

[ QUOTE ]
SB is loose and aggressive, slightly passive preflop (45/14/3). He will bet pairs and draws and make strange plays, but he's not retarded (unlike BB) and can read a board.
