Re: How to Find a Home Game

Hey, I'm with you on the punctuation, etc... but I don't think it is productive to point it out in a separate post in a thread on a valid topic. It's annoying and it makes you sound like a jerk.

I'm on a .5bb/100 over 30K hands. And I'm pretty sure I'm a winning player.

MicroBob is on a 1000bb downswing and I think he's been a pro for about a year and half or so.

Re: PokerSource Nevada Jack promotion...

gotcha... I kind of figured that out, but I appreciate the confirmation.

I deposited $100 and I figure if I just play even, I'll earn $200 and the Nevada Jacks.... not a bad deal.

Can anybody provide some information on this offer?

What do I need to do to get these chips? Which poker room would be the easiest to clear the bonus?

Thanks.

Re: Flopped The Fullhouse, Weird line, Weird river situation.

With no read at all, I think just call and be prepared to kick yourself.

Checks the flop, min-raise the turn, min-raise the river? Looks like me might be trying to entice you to push.

You...

Too slow?

I think I played this too slow... but I had the board absolutely crippled. I'd like to hear comments, even though this is a pretty rare case.

Re: AA in Position (I need to control myself and the pot I think)

MP1 (or SB for that matter) could have flopped trips, I think. Although, 9-9, 10-10 or J-J might be played the same way by MP on the flop (and makes it even more possible when he checks the K on the...

Given that, I dislike the flop play more. You invested preflop to hit a monster flop on occasion against a big hand and stack that hand. You missed.

Re: How would you have played this?

I'll concede the pre-flop call in that position was a little iffy... especially with enough hands behind me to make the post-flop play problematic (as this very hand demonstrates!)

And I think I...
