He had 77 for bottom set.

I don't think I'm in that good of shape against this guy's range though. I really don't think he could have AA or KK and I'm not sure he plays AQ that way and surely...

Six max table.

I have been opening tons of pots because thats what I like to do, not sure if that's right. I think I'm winning the information war and like my spot. I'll probably get paid off...

25-50 NL Hand

I'm new to no-limit and wondering if I just donked away my stack on this one.

I have 6k and have both players have about 5k.

I have been the most active player at my table by far opening...

Re: Negreanu vs Dreamclown match

Just because you don't care doesn't mean many others don't. I think this type of thread appeals to those that play very high limit shorthanded as well as those that are aspiring to that, and even...

Re: 100-200 Lifeline

[ QUOTE ]
I am sure there are guys who ask seemingly innocent questions like you did while others find out what their buddy folded on a key hand before deciding on a course of action while still...

But tell me, why would you expect someone to ask about you? At lunch or at the table? I'm guessing you don't smell or dress funny, so what's the reason? I asked someone a while back who...

Another question

If the response of the IM is "Big fish." Does that make c/r the flop or turn correct?

Re: 100-200 Lifeline

IM'ing is way less threatening than pokertracker.

You could be the best poker player on the planet, but if you can't figure out how to run a pokertracker, good luck handling the other good...

[ QUOTE ]
I'd like to see your reaction when the guy sitting next to you at the table asks the buddy next to him what he knows about you. I'm guessing you'd have a problem with it. Hypocritical. ...

Re: 100-200 Lifeline

Well it's not 100% he has an overpair. If he has an overpair and I call a flop bet it's not a big mistake. Coupled with the fact that the turn could get checked around, I think calling the flop is...

100-200 Lifeline

You pump 10-10 in MP1. You haven't lost a pot yet and feel like a million bucks. The guy directly to you left 3-bets quickly. The guy behind him instantly 4-bets, obviously using the raise any...

Another WPTE post

I'm sorry for doing this again, but I have to. The WPTE sucks as bad as any company can suck.

They have never turned a profit. The poker frenzy is slowing and growing old. They are being...

Re: allen C. rereraise on river with three AAA, can\'t be good

It was a bluff attempt, trying to mover players off a flush I assume. It's a very weird and a very bad play. Worst play of the series by a known player.

Re: Hand from Bellagion 5 Diamond

We think differently about the way other people think in this situation. I think she was tickled pink to not be put in tough spots against a tricky aggressive player. I am with Gigabet that she...

Re: Hand from Bellagion 5 Diamond

You could also wait for a flop that only you could have the nuts on. Eg. 976. 456 etc. I know you can't wait forever and this is a decent spot, however, it is possible for her to have the nuts...

Re: Hand from Bellagion 5 Diamond

Eh, I really disagree. A flop check might lose her action, and the turn call was good - but both decisions are easy. Other than that, she did nothing special at all. I think it's very random she...
