KQ from the small blind?

Villian is LOOSE. Had raised Q10off from UTG+2 two orbits before. Numerous other raises as well.

Re: was this a bad play? Bubble bust hand.

I'm curious. Why at least bet the pot? Can't you accomplish the same thing, a little more cheaply, by doing an HOH style bet of about 2/3 to 3/4 of the pot?

I've been having a lot of success with...

Is this a bad beat post??? Call.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not a bad beat post. I was thinking, why would you pop this all in with AA? You'd want to milk AA a little wouldn't you?

Re: Big decision early

Let's go back one step, if no one minds.

I should have re-raised this pre-flop? Yes?

If so, how much? Twice villian's raise? Shove em?

Big decision early

20+2 SNG. Too early for any reads. Understand I hated the pre-flop call the second I made it. Question is, now that we've put ourselves in this spot, where to go from here?

except for that stupid 30 bet. I hate, and don't get that.

The 30 bet comes not from the villian in this hand, but from our original raiser. Villian played this hand very...

Re: Was this sane?

The ace on the flop is a problem with what is otherwise probably a good idea.

I can't count how many player notes I have on people that start with "Any Ace" or "will raise Ax off".

They're the...

AQ off, time to push?

I've been a LHE ring game guy for a long time. But after lurking here quite a bit, thought some SNG's would be a nice way to work out my NL jones with small investments. I've been in the money more...

Re: Would you bust on this hand?

Not only would I bust on this hand, I almost did the exact same thing in a Full Tilt SNG last night. 2nd or 3rd hand, AJ off in the BB. 1 limper in MP, button limps, I raise to 2 BB. Flop is A5J. I...

Re: \"I Wanna See That Hand\" at MGM Las Vegas

I was sitting at a 4/8 table for about 5 hours Saturday afternoon at MGM, and yeah, some guys were starting to ask to see cards.

I noticed it happened for the first time when we had a gal sit...

66 becomes a set, what to do with this flop?

I'm considering capping this, I'll admit more out of irritation than anything else, which is bad.

Should I be coming over the top of this, or do we want to call and bring everyone along to the...

Easy push IMO but I am more of a SNG player than a MTT player so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Re: Check behind with aces?

Wouldn't the decision largely rest on where this guy came in from? If he limped in first, he is probably more likely on a straight draw. Of course, you could be facing AQo or KQo that just hit trips...

Re: Bankroll for B&M?

Just over 20 BB is fine in most live games. Usually it's easiest to round up to the nearest rack of $100.

(Ex: Most people buy in for 1 rack ($100) at 2/4. 2 racks at 4/8, etc.

50 is way too...

Right or wrong to hit the gas here?

SB is a pretty solid player. UTG is a calling station.

Should the turn have been a smooth call to get everyone to come along to the river?

Or do you just let aggression kick in and bash it...

Two pair against a flush draw

Two pair has been a leak, pain in the **s, whatever lately.

The raise from villian says "FLUSH!". So what do we do from here? We've got boat outs, flush outs of our own, etc.

Re: Stepping up - Where are the Break Points?

If you're talking about Vegas, most of the 2-4 games are like the play money games online. 7 to 8 people see all flops. Crap two pair hands made with 94o rule the day.

That sort of thing.
