UPDATE: all is well

I faxed Firepay my bank account statement and ID, and within a couple of hours they reactivated my account with all my funds still intact.

Btw, their terms of services state the following:

Re: 99 flops set, Big pot against LAG\'s

[ QUOTE ]
Raise preflop for value.

Call the river. I'd say K9/K4 is most likely, but the pot is easily large enough to see if he has 44 or Kx.

Firepay says \"FAX YOU!\"

So I logged into Firepay for the first time in, oh... maybe six months. And my account was locked! They insist I fax them a copy of my bank statement to them to have it unlocked. I'm not very happy...

Re: Nut flush on a paired board facing strength (50$ NL on Party).

Do you think that Kx is going to min-reraise after a check raise on a 3 flushed board? I guess if they were an enormous donk, maybe, but I think that most of the time a Kx is going to just call after...

Re: Squirrel Post- don\'t miss the Nuts

You ignored recognizing when the nuts are on the board, which seems to be a very common mistake.

learning to read the board right away just comes from lots of repetition. it's not something you read a guide to do.

Re: Call of off-tempo push by the shortie?

Well, obviously the first thing you can do is try to put your opponent on a range of hands. What hands are you way ahead of? Bottom pair (say he has A5), or a lower pocker pair. What hands are you...

Ok thank you. I actually pushed and he showed 77 for the full house.

The thing that stinks to high heaven about this hand is the min-reraise after Hero's turn C/R. Is it...

Re: Never felt so passive with AA on all streets, 200nl

[ QUOTE ]
I would push all in, make it look like you have AK and are trying to steal the pot - get his AQ or KQ to call you and "pick you off". Clearly without a long history against you he wont...

Bet fourth, raise 5th. Just remember, you're playing against sub humans. Often times, people let their pets, senile grandparents play.

Re: Going too far with Tens?

Thanks for the replies. I guess the basic problem was building a pot with a marginal holding and not much in the way of draws.

Opponent who bet the J on 5th st in fact only had a single pair (to...

Slowplayed flush - good?

I'm fairly new to 7 stud, all comments appreciated.

Seat 7 who completes UTG has been doing that every hand for the last 3-4 hands, so I don't assume it means anything.

Re: Pre-flop Decision

Re-raise to $5. If called, and only a K or a Q flops, fire a bet, c/f if called. If an ace flops, I'd check-fold to any sizeable bet. If a J flops, go hog wild. That may be weak-tight post flop but...

Re: Was i right here to risk it all with KK ?

Sheesh, cry me a river. I think you know perfectly well that not calling here would be terrible. You played it fine, unless you think that with 7 BBs left you should be waiting for AA to put it all...

Re: Very Familiar

How many outs is a runner-runner flush worth on the flop? Would it be approximately one quarter of the available clubs left, e.g., between 2 and 2.5 outs? I should know this, but I don't.

Re: Pocket pair on a monotone flop

[ QUOTE ]
Calling your all-in bet with Ace-rag is about as donkish as you get.

[/ QUOTE ]
No, playing A-rag to a sizeable raise is as donkish as you get. Calling with it here isn't quite as bad.
