Dutch Boyd question

If it's illegal to operate an online cardroom or casino for American audiences (other than in Nevada), why is Dutch Boyd allowed back into the country?

New tournament report

The Bonita track held its first tournament Thursday and limited it to 50 players. I arrived at 11:15 a.m. and just barely made it in. The tournament didn't start until 1 p.m. and they don't open the...

Re: Vegas Baby, Vegas!!

Sure low limit black jack is a waste, that's why he should let his buds dink around with it during the day while he plays cards. Besides, low limit craps is where it's at. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Vegas Baby, Vegas!!

As has been previously posted... Mirage and Bellagio. I think the Mandalay and Luxor both run morning tournaments.

I wouldn't worry about spending too much "guy time." The last time I was in Vegas...

Naples/Bonita/Fort Myers dog track

I went there a few weeks ago and was less than impressed. The dealers (except for the big guy named Paul) were all terrible, it took the dealers forever to shuffle, it took the dealers forever to...

I don\'t think they sell it on ebay, anyway

I bid on a used copy about a year ago and they sent me an email saying the auction was pulled. Something about violating licenses, or some other legal mumbo jumbo.

Re: Round2 , little less luck this time

I saw a guy in a NL party SnG crack three pocket aces (including one of mine). Once with a Q2o, once with a 68d and once with a J4d. Craziness is reraising all-in with Q2o. I was happy when I saw...

Re: ethics of unmucking

Everywhere I've played, if you muck a winner (which I have done, unfortunately) you still lose. It's my understanding that in most poker rooms, once the dealer touches your cards (when you release...

Poker rooms in Florida

I'm moving to Florida in about a month and was quite happy to discover a poker room/dog track a few minutes from my soon-to-be office. Then I read over their rules and was a little displeased to...

I was curious what you thought of the SB's call with AJo?

I've played quite a bit with him in the past, and earlier in the tournament he layed down a big hand because "I know how you play. You...

99 on the button late in a NLHE tourney

I'm in third place with T8,000 in a 13-player live tournament, three positions pay. We're down to five. Game has been very slow and the blinds are at 800-1,600. There are T54,000 in circulation...

Re: Party Sit N Go is Pure Ignorance

At least your mouse isn't acting up. Mine has been giving me trouble, and when I'm fortunate enough to get a SnG seat it's a mad race to the fee box with a sluggish mouse. Most of the time I start...
