Re: Final table hand, live bar tourney

[ QUOTE ]
Actually, I have 2 pair.

[/ QUOTE ]

Crud, so you do. Given that, and that you're not going to fold it when there's this much in the pot, I'd go ahead and push to fold out hands that...

Re: Final table hand, live bar tourney

I see this type of play when the bettor has something on the flop and then picks up a draw on the turn. Possibilities would be 98, JT, J9, maybe KT or AT. It could also be a big hand begging for...

Re: Can I comfortably lay this down?

No need to (basically) throw your stack behind AJo IMO. Good fold.

Re: Final 3 on $20 180 person SNG. Both guys all in. Should I fire her

Given the short stack's position (9 BB, needing a double up just to get 2nd), I would be moving in pre-flop. If I fold, I will be facing either a 236K stack or a 198K stack and a 38K stack with me at...

Re: I love Pokerstars Support!!

Dan C needs a raise. That is the best customer support response I've seen. Kids in the Hall! Wow. Just brilliant.

Re: AK preflop near bubble with a big stack, lots of action

I don't think this is an easy push at all, given your description of the BB. Look at it from his viewpoint. Table chip leader (or close to it) raises almost 20% of his stack and is then re-raised all...

Re: New project with price

I'm going to give you one big score and one decent score in the MTTs, with the SnGs giving you some basic income. If you get a top 5 in a $3, you should make about $500, and then another $200 score...

Re: ITM % for small buy in MTTs

Looking at the micro MTTs I've played since Sept 1, I've cashed in 22/61 for a 36% ITM and a 161% ROI. I don't feel like I've been overly lucky, and don't even have a single FT to show for my efforts...

Re: Play a Hand With the Masters #2 Pre-Flop

[ QUOTE ]
In my mind, AK in early position has everything to do with table dynamics. If I think I've got a loose reputation, I'm making my standard raise (usually 3x) and probably calling a push. I...

Re: The first of many (Stars $3+R)

After an open push (more or less) first hand with KK (called by A8o and A3s), I found myself with 4500 chips. No rebuy, in for $6 with addon. Currently $15K at the break on table 161. GL boys!

Re: OT: Party vs Stars (ROI impact)

With the 9 player tables, you should be changing one of your OOTM finishes to a 3rd, or even doing that and changing one 3rd place finish to a 2nd place finish. Once you've done that, recalculate...

Re: Results for Amethyst

I ended up chopping the $1 Stud tourney for a $119 score. Yeehaw! Thanks to Exit for arranging everything, it was a nerve-wracking night with so many tournaments going.

See you next week!

Re: Results for Amethyst

Ok, I made final 4 (at least) in the Stud tourney, so my finishing total will be just over 700. Damn I wish I entered. :P

Perhaps next week.
