Re: AK suit, best flop or?

Never check that flop firstly. Secondly, Go for the check-raise on the flop if you do. A lot of times, a turn raise signifies strength, especially since he brought it to 3x your bet (at 25NL this...

Re: RESULTS

He honestly didn't bet that strongly. You had a 6xBB raise, and pet 2/3 pot. That signifies strength. I raise the turn and call a push/get all my money in on the river.

Re: 88 OTB

I probably limp for set value, and the other guy probabl doesn't have a king, but I like checking down just because you don't get a king to fold and this guy is playing really weak so I don't think...

Re: NL100 6-max AA played ok?

Thanks guys. So, bet more on the flop is the general consensus? Given the flop/turn, how was the river?

NL100 6-max AA played ok?

Hey all,

I recently moved up to NL100 and I just wanted to see if I played this hand alright. Villian is a loose player (donkish) 48/2 after 35-40 hands. I personally had just sat down an orbit...

Re: Getting value for quad As

Other than maybe a $2-4 bet on the river, I'd say no.

Re: ($25NL): Set facing big bet on the end.

I push. The hands that you lose to are 99, 44, QT, KK (if he is repulsive). So basically 3 hands. I credit this as a don't-call-me overbet and push (perhaps he has Ax clubs).

Re: AK on button NL50 6-max

Sorry, the post got screwed up.

PRF:

Folds to CO who limps, I raise to 4xBB ($2) on Button, SB (Villian) calls and BB, CO fold.

AK on button NL50 6-max

Villian has only 17 hands played with me, but is 41/12 and doesn't really seem solid. I have $43, he has $44.

Re: 88 slowplayed after boated, wrong move?

[ QUOTE ]
First of all DON'T MINIRAISE PREFLOP. God how I hate it when people mini-raise small pocket pairs.

Second, Raise the flop. Raise the turn, and don't push the river. In this hand you...

88 slowplayed after boated, wrong move?

I realize the preflop reraise call might have been out of line, but I could put him on two cards that were high up, and he was an aggressive player who threw money around.

Re: Play these KK any different?

You really can't; he really has no business calling the turn.
