Re: Whould you have done anything different here??

Yes - I would have pushed all in on the flop after SB reraised.

Re: The river bet game

OK I'll take a swing:

Hand 1: B - value bet as I think he has KJ, K10, busted flush or busted straight. If he comes over the top then reevaluate.

Hand 2: B - again I think weak K or busted...

Re: Could it be that I am better suited to short handed?

Statistically insignificant of course, but a nice start. Time will tell if you really have an incredible short-handed talent, or you've just been lucky.

On the other hand, I've been having a...

Re: Cry me a river

I'd raise the flop more.

I'd pot bet the turn, then if he still reraises, I let it go ... thinking he has a set or a straight and has me beat.

Given the way you played it, I make a crying call...

Re: Moist Reliable Online Tell Ever

I like to bluff this tell. I chat "drunkenly" and often spout non-sense, while playing my usual tight aggressive style. Sometimes I get calls I think I wouldn't otherwise get.

Re: Results

Thanks Wayfare. I'm gonna re-examine my play here. You would do the same (on the turn I mean) if this was full ring, right? Or is this an unreasonable question since the whole hand would have played...

Re: tax question - date for withdrawl

I think that the income is supposed to be reported in the year that it was won as recorded in your "gambling session" log, not the date of withdrawal from the gambling site.

See:...

Re: Over play TPTK?

I like the river check behind in this case. The villian has 0.50 cents or so, so there could be an argument for the all in push, but I doubt he folds considering his flop and turn play. Also, since...

Re: online sites and bonuses

UB does have .05/.10 NL, but only in full ring, not 6 max.

Re: KK hand at NL25, PARTY

Yes, you didn't use Bison's hand converter:

http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi

Oh, and also, I'd raise a lot more on the turn at least $10.

Re: Results

Congrats on the win and on finding such a fishy opponent willing to pee away his entire stack on low pair

I still have trouble with this move being +EV in general. Unless you have a read, a check...

Re: Big stacks put wayfare to the test

I think there are a lot of hands he could have that beat you..
the better kings AK, KJ, KQ any one of which could be called preflop at Party..A3 and 22 are also possible. KK is not likely. I think...

Re: Big stacks put wayfare to the test

Fold to the turn reraise. Top pair and pretty weak kicker on a paired board. He has you beat. Give it up.

Re: Too aggresive?

A "normal" pot sized raise would be $30 or so. Since he has only $52 left, I like the push on the turn semibluff. If he calls, which you suspect he wont, you most likely still have 15 outs. I like...

Re: it takes longer than it should to clear interpoker bonus?

Not for me. I cleared the Interpoker bonus easily in 2 days. Is your PT counting all hands played or raked hands?

I used CryptoCounter and knew exactly when I hit 450 hands raked. The bonus was...

Re: Just fold this

Yes fold to the reraise, especially on the turn. He's telling you he can beat your trip 6's.

Re: William Hill Cashout Problem

Wow. As a new Bonus whore, I easily cleared Interpoker and was thinking of Will Hill next. I guess I'll do PokerPlex instead. Thanks for the alert!

Re: Folding open trips in an unraised pot

Fold is the correct play here....

But, I've seen a lot people at UB go all in in similar situations on a flush draw!

Re: home game hand

You might get more responses in the STT forum.
In a tournament style home game, I don't want to go broke, especially on a marginal call.

Fold and live to double up on another better hand.

Re: A nasty beat.

I'm in no position to criticize, as I play a lot of micro (nano)limit also. But ... I find it very awkward to be talking about a major hit to your bankroll when you are playing penny poker.

People...

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...

To clarify one point:

You have to open and leave open the hand history window for each new table you sit at.

Re: Any Ub players that use PT plz respond...

You do have to leave the hand history windows open. I just shrink them and stick them in the lower corner where they dont get in my way.
