Re: Question about Editing

andy, it's in the FAQ - .5 hours, i.e. 30 minutes. That should be plenty and if it were longer, then there would be even more examples of people replying to posts only to have that post changed...

Re: The last stand of the American Republic....

[ QUOTE ]
At no time has Congress executed it's constitutional duty and declared War - either on Iraq, Afghanistan, or Terror.

[/ QUOTE ]

It has effectively done so by appropriating funds for...

Re: *OFFICIAL* Thanks To 2+2 For A Great 2005 - Appreciation Thread Ah

I only frequent these forums because David has stated that the more traffic it gets the more money he makes.

Re: $25 PLO hand

If you think villain has a lower set only then raise. If you think, as is probable, that he just made a straight, then fold (because your hand is obvious and you likely won't get paid if you fill)...

Re: Is there a firefox extension that can make its default size 800x60

Unless some poker junkie has written one, I don't think there is. I only play 3 tables at at time and usually have my Firefox browser open in the other space as well with lobbies behind it. And you...

Re: Conditional Suffrage?

Obviously since we extol winner-take-all in poker (other than those hi/lo heathens), then it can't be bad for elections. Proportional representation systems just insure gridlock and instability. A...

Re: Conditional Suffrage?

[ QUOTE ]
Not to mention the fact that the "network/class" uses violence precisely because of the prohibition.

[/ QUOTE ]

Absolutely pathetic justification of the murder of police officers,...

Re: Conditional Suffrage?

Although I don't use drugs, I personally believe that pot and some other drugs should be legalized. Nonetheless, even low level dealers who never participate in violence are part of a network/class...

Re: Conditional Suffrage?

[ QUOTE ]
It's worse than that. Convict political enemies of some vague "undermining national interests" felony and they can't vote you out of office.

[/ QUOTE ]

Although in dire worst case...

Re: So you know there decent and have AA

There is nothing wrong with making a move either as a semi-bluff or with nothing provided that the opponent is capable of folding marginal hands. But even though shorthanded you have to loosen your...

Re: What poker game should I focus on (limit HE, pot Omaha, etc.)

Obviously you don't like variance. So you should avoid PLO and short-handed anything like the plague (though if you do learn how to play them well and have the appropriate roll for a given level...

Re: Catholic v. Christian

And a logical extension of your feelings and beliefs is that we catholics who have experienced only infant baptism cannot have that same feeling and belief of having the indwelling of the Holy Spirit...

Re: Republican wants Gay-Straight Alliances banned from Utah high scho

Unless you are intentionally being misleading, the Mormon Church renounced polygamy in the late 1800s as a result of court decisions and as a condition of the admission of Utah into the union (the...

Re: Republican wants Gay-Straight Alliances banned from Utah high scho

If you're not Mormon then you're just NOT. Since they use the cultic practice of shunning members, even family, who have left their fold, that should show this point.

Re: what new keyboard

It also matters if you are a touch typist or just a hunt an pecker. Most of the ergonomic keyboard advantages will be lost on someone who hunts and pecks.

Re: Republican wants Gay-Straight Alliances banned from Utah high scho

Nice distortion to get in an anti-repub comment. Since virtually all Mormons are republicans, then naturally the repub party will be dominant in Utah, and Mormon agenda items will be advanced by the...

Re: Catholic v. Christian

2nd century = 100s and 3rd =200s. And what is important is the amount of time between the death of the last apostle and a certain writing which narrows the gap 60+ years.

Re: Should we partition Iraq?

We have pledged to our important ally Turkey, that we will not support the creation of an independent Kurdistan because it would exacerbate tensions in their Kurdish region. And the Sunnis and Shi'a...
