Re: Trying to overcome downswings....

You know you can do it! So, just do it! Bad beats happen! I just played 4 sets of 4 tables at the 55's and I found them really profitable today, but you think I can make any money? NOPE! It won't...

Re: Poker Rooms need to have cashout policies more like Pinnacle

I also like how pinnacle reacts with regard to deposits, when you use a credit card. I was able to deposit, but before being able to withdraw, I would have to fax in some documents. Now, this is also...

Re: 1000 $55 SNG Quest in August

I agree! I love reading posts like that. I remember the first such challenge I read was from a guy in the Texas Holdem forum doing 60K in 60 days. Awesome read and I just love to hear how others are...

Re: Final table AK hand

I personally probably would have pushed this, but I should know better. The reason is that you can safely assume that you are at best a coinflip! Now, if the competition is very strong, I would take...

Because if you check behind on the turn he will call you on the river with a wider range. He'll also bluff river sometimes whereas he would have folded on the turn.

I don't like betting the turn at all. What is the point? If he's behind he has at most 3 outs. Check the turn and maybe call, maybe fold the river depending on your read & your gut; bet if...

I increase the initial raise amount according to how many limpers are in front of me, the more the merrier. After 4 limpers I might even push my whole stack with AK.

Still though, I...

Re: AKo Post Flop at $50+5

Ok, thanks for all telling me that I would be crazy to fold this. And yes, he did have 99 and flopped his set. Oh well! I was still in good shape after this hand.

Re: AKo Post Flop at $50+5

200? when the BB is 30? Don't you think that's a little too much?
(I'm not disagreeing, just wondering)
Also, I usually raise these to 125 at BB 30, but somehow got the little raise thing a little...

Re: No longer playing to win

About 2 weeks ago, I felt exactly like that. I could not win an allin. I got sucked out soo many times, it really sucked.
But, two days later, everything changed around, and I won my first MTT with...

Re: 1st break

Can't win a f****ing hand!

First, I lose 2/3 of my stack with flush over flush, and then I lose the race with my AK against JJ.

Horrible day, with a bad ending!

Re: *Official* Party 350k Guaranteed Sunday

1480 at the break.
Folded 66 in one of the hands to a raise and reraise, and the flop came 10, 6, 3. Other two guys went allin: AA vs. KK. Would have been such a nice pot. Oh well!

Re: Still can\'t get my 1st win! 2 more final tables this weekend.

I can only agree by saying that you should try to play many SNG's to get practise for the final table. I play tons of SNG's and I was on my first 3 final tables about 6 weeks ago. Since then nothing,...
