aakk beats aa22

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, AAKK beats AA22, but it does not beat 222.

EDIT: I have to agree with pretty much everyone thus far. You took a good line and took a tough beat....

Re: $55 6handed Lvl6: Push w/TT vs bigstack\'s raise?

TT is definitely +EV against the range of hands he would raise with, so I would push preflop.

Re: Full hand history - anyone wanna look it over?

Not terrible, but you need to get more aggressive on the bubble and ITM. You fold many times when I would push any two.

Limp early in the tournament with low pocket pairs when you have a good...

Re: Early in a sng

First hand: If you feel you have to play this hand, just limp. Secondly, push the turn. You're already pot-committed anyway.

Second hand: Don't raise this hand. Just limp. It makes it much...

Re: 5 Bubble Hands: How to Play\'em

1. Push
2. Push
3. Depending on your read on the BB, if he's been playing real tight on the blinds, then raise it up to 550 or so, then fold to a reraise.
4. Same as 3, except about the SB....

Re: pwnd?

Being an internet gamer, I can tell you that "pwned" originated (obviously) from the word "owned".

How it became "pwned" is derived from the game "Quake", where some idiot typed "i pwned u" with a...

Re: JJ, QQ, AK in level 1 of 109/215

I would say stop raising JJ and AK (EDIT: UTG and UTG+1 for sure), and call a (reasonable) raise, and judge the hand postflop.

QQ I would continue to raise, then call the reraise. Flop 3 unders,...

Re: First hand of PP 10+1

I bet 250 on the turn, but yeah, I should have pushed.

Anyhow, it wasn't the raiser that I was playing against there, I was playing against the SB. The original raiser folded to my bet on the...

In the future, use this hand converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi) for posting hand histories. It makes it much more readable.

On to your play. I disagree...

Re: First hand of PP 10+1

I think you're right. What could he have that would warrant a call on the flop bet? I was thinking AT, AJ at the time, but he would have led out if he had either of those hands.

I don't feel I...

Re: Biggest waste of 22 dollars ever?

At 10/15 blinds, you complete with any two.

EDIT: Just read Yugoslavian's post, and yeah, if you don't know how to play this hand post-flop, then it's probably better to fold.

Re: Gives trouble to me, that KQ does....

This is pretty much ditto to most posts here, but:

Hand 1: Instant call, no thought about it.

Hand 2: I would go for a check-raise. Your hand is pretty vulnerable, but if by some odd chance...

Could someone post the link to Barry Greenstein\'s website?

Sorry. I lost it, and I don't want to go searching through the forums to find it because of 2 reasons:

1) I don't remember where I last saw it, and

2) I'm very lazy.

Thanks in advance.

Re: What I Learned From Tonight\'s \"Tilt\' Episode

I find myself turning the channel every time one of those ridiculous plays happens. I can't stand to watch 46s raise to 40xBB and get reraised by 2s. It makes my head hurt.
