Re: AKo - Time for a laydown?

I can't see folding here. I don't see UTGs turn donkbet as being a monster, but more likely A/images/graemlins/club.gif 10/images/graemlins/club.gif or something...and I don't think you should be...

Villain is BB, 65/4/.7

[/ QUOTE ]

keep in mind with a VPIP of 65, the .7 AF rating could be misleading, meaning he may be a bit more aggressive than the nunmber suggests.

Re: AJo in CO withTAG in SB

I'm just calling the 3-bet on the river, the TAG SB doesn't seem impressed at the fact that u raised both the turn and the river. It's likely the Q improved his hand on the river or else he likely...

Also, money is not an issue with this, and...does anyone have any experiences using sysbuilder.com.

Thanks.

Re: QQ.....what\'s the plan?

You do make fine points...my main reason for being somewhat passive in this pot is the lack of reads.

I think the button's limp-reraise means he is moran, I don't see this being a big hand.

Re: 88

I will say again, I hate putting multiple bets into capped pre-flop pots with middle pair. Having multiple players in the pot just multiplies my feelings.

Re: QQ.....what\'s the plan?

We're certainly not folding so the flop decision is between calling and 3-betting.

The biggest problem of this hand is that we have no reads and we have no idea what buttons limp-reraise could...

Re: 88

ok....so I guess peeling the flop isn't too bad. But if we get bet into on the turn again I think folding is best (even if the turn is a non A or K) Once the pre-flop capper bets again on the turn,...

This pot might be big enough to justify a check-raise on the flop, hoping to push out MP and to, well, "find out where we are"

Re: 88

Well, we 3-bet pre-flop out of position. We didn't get the hand heads up and we got capped. I really don't like putting any more money into this pot.

Re: 3/6 1010, unsure on all streets

Pre-flop: 3-bet...even if they think you're a maniac, who cares, you have a strong hand...and maybe if they do deem you crazy, they will call you down w/A high.

Flop: Based on your cold-call...

I called the river bet. Villain flips up J8 offsuit for the flopped 2-pair. He made a bad PF call, bad flop lead allowing me to blow away two loose callers and a bad attempt at a turn...

Re: 88 OP against two aggressors

I am 3-betting in this situation. A high pair seems unlikey as that would have probably been raised pre-flop, most 2/4 players tend to slowplay flopped trips. It's likely we still have the best...

Welcome back Nicky! Is there any reason other than money you will go to 3/6 and not start up at 5/10? 4K is a pretty good size bankroll for 5/10. Or is it just too high to start off and...

Re: Help me on this river.

I really don't think 3-betting is automatic here. When you look at the logical 2 pair combos, since 3 Kings are out, there are only 3 combos of KQ, and 3 combos of KJ.

You describe MP as solid,...

Re: 6-7 suited in MP

Exactly...it would certainly suck to pump this flop, and then a J or Q falls on the turn...We just pumped the flop just to see 4 of our outs become very dirty.

Am I the only one that doesn't like pumping the idiot end of the straight draw here?? With 8 other limping hands out there, hands like JT, QJ, QT are pretty likely, and it sucks pumping a draw,...

Getting back in Game after 10 week layoff. (No Hand Content)

Re: KK vs a TAG...again

I think you played this fine. If the turn isn't a J I would strongly consider raising.
