Re: This felt bad

Bet the turn. I'm guessing you didn't want to pay 2 bets to see the river but I don't think you're gonna be raised here much. River looks good.

Re: Protected Pot

[ QUOTE ]
I think I'd find the fold button on this one. I mean what does he have that we beat? That card doesn't exactly scream "bluff me" either.

Re: Ed Miller be damned, I\'m folding (5/10)

I'd check/raise the flop. And the pot really isn't that big at the river, you're getting ~9.6 to 1 at best, although I think the best you can hope for is 4.8 to 1 once in awhile.

You should be betting it yourself.

Re: A-high river bet

If we check he can bet ace high, king high, busted draws like QJ and J9s, and he'll often check behind weak pairs thinking we might have an overpair and are scared of the 4 straight board.

Maybe...

Re: A-high river bet

He's not gonna put you on a 7, so we have no more folding equity than if a 2/images/graemlins/club.gif came, and we'd check that card, so I'm checking here. With a blank falling at least he might...

Re: 5/10 - King Jackoff blind defense

[ QUOTE ]
I want to 3-bet this preflop if youre going to try and take it down without a showdown.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm sure his plan when calling PF wasn't to take it down without a showdown UI...

Re: 5/10 - King Jackoff blind defense

I think I like. He's folding his AT and 55 type hands on the flop, and you've got to follow up on the turn to fold out his loose flop calls, and on the river a 3 flush and 4 straight board looks...

Re: river value raise?

I must be retarded 'cause I'm not getting why people don't think it's closer. Even if we give him a range of A7s, K7s, 33, AA, and 77 it's 7 we're beating and 4 we're behind. We probably don't need...

Hell no. Wonder what made you decide to check it. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Edit: I said hell no before you edited asking about the straight draws, wasn't replying to that.

I cannot believe that the two possibilities that beat you (AA and 77) are considered out there. 3 people say call? are you mad?

Re: AK button hand.

Turn call is iffy - you are only 1 sb over breakeven and the board is paired.

Re: River action against a TAG...

The only part I play different is check/raising the flop. River is an easy 3 bet, I don't see how he can have backdoored a flush also since you have all the flopped pair cards that would give him a...

Re: bb special

I'd just 3 bet the flop, button could be raising for a free card, and if you just call alot of turns are going to be too bad for your hand to check/raise. I play the river the same, even though his...

Re: river value raise?

I'd say A7s at 1 combo, 77 at 1 combo, and AJ and AA are 3 combos each, but AJ is fairly unlikely to be played like this so I'd say less than 1 combo for it. AA is fairly likely IMO, what has he got...
