Re: Steal gone wrong gone right

Re: PP 5/10 well timed bluff?

i dont like it. the chances of him having a pair or a draw are very high given the number of people that saw that flop. he wont fold either of those to your turn bet (especialy since you called him...

im new to limit so i have a couple questions. first of all, how often do utg 3/6 players limp a7 or a9? second, how often does villian here just flat call the flop bet with a7 or a9? im curious why...

im a nl player and very new to limit. why do you bet the turn? i cant imagine it is for value. also it seems that thinning to feild isnt much of an advantage, as the only time you would want to thin...

Re: Typical AK Hand

i would base my play on the turn on whether he is an unknown player or a known player. a known player (good also) that knows you a little bit and much more likely to pull off that turn semi bluff...

Re: ATs Under Fire

the turn isnt as clear cut as a couple of the posters have made it seem, one way or the other. by betting you may get weak queens and jacks to fold, which you like. by checking, you allow yourself...

Re: weak tight or right?

Re: anyone like this?

I like the play. I prefer the re-raise PF because it shows that you have a very strong hand, and you can thus bluff at any board. If you flat call, he probably figures you have a hand,...

Re: anyone like this?

against a lag, reraising preflop in position with AQ is rarely superior to calling. you really lose alot of post flop equity by doing so. the way you plyaed it preflop, betting the flop after he...

Re: My thoughts on bankroll

sorry but its just not a debateable topic. when you push more edges your variance per 100 hands is way higher than if you sit and wait for 65/35 edges. especially on party.

if you want a good...
